  Definitely a 10+. The staff and veterinarian were very knowledgeable and professional. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

  The staff is incredibly compassionate, supportive and understanding. The doctors are very knowledgeable and they really make you feel at home and like family.

  The first visit we had back in December was good. I went in last month and brought all the records for adoption and discussed with them that he needed ONE vaccine this month. I got to the appointment and they tried telling me he needed multiple, including rabies which isn't due for another few months. One thing was discussed, one vaccination was needed which is why we set the appointment, and to be told when I get there he needs more is really frustrating. I don't want to give him things he doesn't need, I don't want to disrupt his vaccination schedule so you make more money today, I don't want to be surprised with treatments when I get there before you even get a chance to assess him. I did like that he was welcomed and his name was on the board and that we were seen quickly. I felt very uncomfortable going today based on some very negative Facebook posts this week and I don't anticipate I will be returning. I want to go somewhere I trust, not somewhere my wallet is scared every time we pull up.

  I have never been so disgusted and deeply disappointed with a veterinarian "hospital" in my life. Thank goodness my sisters and I were in the right place at the right time. I've been taking my 3 dogs here for over 3 years and was picking up their flea and tick medicine when Charles walked in with his little girl Maggie, who was in obvious distress and needing medical attention. The "lady" at the desk, whom I never seen before, told him to wait and dismissed him, to continue to talk to me about the weight of my dog ... Seriously... I told her to speak with him first my situation wasn't serious. She then spoke so rudely and treated the man and his poor dog as insignificant. He and his recently deceased wife had been loyal customers of VCA for over 10 years. She left him standing there to go talk to the vet techs. Upon return she said they were much too busy to help him today and proceeded to inform him they were closing in a few minutes for the lunch hour and he needed to seek help elsewhere. I was appalled. Never in my life had I witnessed such a lack of compassion. Long story short... I made the instant decision and drove a fellow human being that needed help all the way to Ocala Equestrian Center UF Veterinarian Hospital to receive the best treatment ever! God bless the folks in Ocala. They will have my loyal business as long as I have my fur babies ❤️
