    I made an appointment with Geek Squad for 5:20 PM and arrived early at 5:10 PM to check in. By 5:40 PM, nobody had acknowledged me, and I had to flag down an associate just to find out what was going on. I explained that I was only there for an iPhone battery replacement and asked if I could simply leave the phone and come back later. I was told no and instructed to keep waiting. When I asked why, considering it was just a battery change, they said they needed to talk to me about the "problem" with my phone first. The entire experience was frustrating and a complete waste of time. Customers who walked in without appointments were being helped before me, despite me arriving early for my scheduled appointment. Meanwhile, I was trying to manage my children while standing around waiting with no communication or updates from the staff. To make matters worse, after finally being called up sometime after 5:50 PM, I was informed that the technician had already left for the day. This was especially frustrating because I had checked in at 5:10 PM and waited over 40 minutes without any updates. If the technician was unavailable, that information could and should have been communicated to me when I first arrived, rather than after making me wait. If appointments aren't going to be honored and customers aren't going to be kept informed, then what's the point of scheduling one? Extremely disappointing customer service.

    I went into the Best Buy today, no appointment because I had a work iPhone I purchase a few months ago where it asked for a passcode but I didn’t know it, so I needed a factory reset on the phone Paul helped me, was easily workable, and got me in and out of there in like 30 minutes. Great experience

    TV technicians lack knowledge. I paid geek squad $100 to diagnose my TV as to why it was losing Internet connection. When they arrived , they looked at my TV, spent a little time with it and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the TV and that the problem was with my Internet service provider. After several more months fighting with the TV, I changed Internet providers but found I still had the problem. Calling a local TV antenna service I was told that the Samsung TV was prone to have failing network cards? He suggested I get a Roku stick and that would solve my problem. He was right. Wasted time money and aggravation with the geek squad. Canceled membership.
