    I had a very disappointing experience at Best Buy in Lady Lake/The Villages. I came in with photos of the exact products I needed and clearly explained that the specs had to match. I was told another item had the same specs, so I trusted the employee and purchased it. Before leaving, I read the box myself and realized it was not the same spec at all. It was a cheaper, lower-level version that would not work for what I needed. When I went back inside, they argued instead of simply admitting the mistake. One example: I was told multiple times that a Ryzen 7 computer was the “newest version.” That is not accurate. Ryzen 7 is a product tier, not automatically the newest generation. AMD’s current desktop lineup includes Ryzen 9000 series, and Ryzen 9 models are higher-tier than Ryzen 7. AMD also lists the Ryzen 9 9950X3D as a high-end 16-core processor for demanding gamers and creators. For a technology store, the staff should know basic product specs and should not push lower-level products as if they are equal. I left disgusted and lost confidence in this location.

    pitiful service, went in to purchase chromebook. Guy at the computer desk told me where they were and he'd have someone come help me. Employee came to help and I told him i wanted open box deal and he told me I shoul upgrade to a better unit then he disapeared. Waited ten minutes along with another customer, finally went back to desk and showed them the item i wanted on my phone. Ten more minutes and he came and told me that one was't available but another one was at a slightly higher price. I said I'd take it, but when I got to checkout the price was higher than stated. I paid the extra and told them I'd rather pay more than talk to any more of their people.

    I would give ‘0’ stars but it won’t let me!! BUYER BEWARE BEST BUY is by far the worst of all appliance stores! The delivery companies are always third party and I have nothing but positive comments for them. The two drivers even came back at the end of the day to see what was going on and confirmed that the machine was defective. Dealing with Best Buy was the real nightmare!! They simply read from a script and don’t listen to anything you say! Try to speak to a manger and they tell you they will call within 1-2 hours. It’s now been 20 hours. Thought we had it resolved, associate told me it would take time for return/exchange to process but she would call before she left last night……still waiting on her. When I spoke to call center this morning the associate told me they are a call center and don’t have notes, put me on hold, came back 5 min later (per timer on my phone) and told me she read notes 🤦‍♀️ Save yourself the stress don’t shop at BEST BUY!!!

    I am writing to share feedback regarding my experience today. While the employees were polite, the frequency of 'need help' offers was excessive. I was asked over 8 times if I needed assistance, which made me feel pressured rather than welcomed. I hope you can work with your team on coordinating their floor coverage so shoppers can browse comfortably.

    Their use of AI is going to kill their business if they don't fix it. Entered an order on their website. Paid with CC and all was fine, credit card charge went through. Shortly thereafter the order was CANCELLED! 20 minutes wasted. Tried to find out why. Their online chat (AI driven) was absolutely useless. 15 minutes wasted. Instead of answering questions, just kept showing me my cancelled order. Called what was supposed to be the local store number (where the items were to be picked up), and got connected with another AI bot that was useless. Finally got to a human. They had no idea why the order was cancelled. Their only advice was to go to the store physically and place the order there. 30 minutes wasted. Went to the local store. A customer service person there was the one bright spot in this fiasco. She told me the order was labeled as fraud, which she said was probably assigned by an AI bot (seeing the theme here?). She entered the order again, gave me what was in stock, and arranged for the three missing items to be delivered to me in the next two days. Note that one of the three items was to be included with the items I received and paid for. Again, my credit card, which I presented physically, was charged. By the time I got home I was notified that the order for the items to be delivered was CANCELLED! Over 1 hour wasted. So I called the customer serivice line again. Of course no clue why. They just escalated it. Now I wait another three days for resolution, hopefully that is. Another 30 minutes wasted.
