I arrived nearly an hour before closing, but the store manager refused to process the trade-in, saying there were people in line, and essentially turned me away. However, I personally saw several employees just standing doing nothing at the time. The interaction felt unhelpful and not customer-oriented.

When I brought it into the store for help, the manager was rude and dismissive, repeatedly telling me “that’s what happens when you buy refurbished” and refusing to offer any solution because I was slightly past the return window — even though it had only been about a week since I actually received it. Instead of helping, I was encouraged to sign up for a subscription. If Best Buy thinks refurbished products are unreliable, they shouldn’t sell them. Very disappointing customer service experience.
