I had a great experience with all the staff when I brought my new kitten in (She had gotten something in her eye) They were very thorough and nice people. I’m giving only 3 stars because the follow up appointment to confirm the eye was healed was $73. Follow up appointments are usually no fee or at least half that amount at the most. I’m on a fixed income but Even if I wasn’t, it’s exorbitant to charge that much for a follow up. I will not be back.

If you want the best care for your pet, go to VCA Simmons. Dr. Neger and Dr. McKenzie are phenomenal. From check-in to checkout, the entire staff is attentive and compassionate. I brought Luna in needing care, and Dr. Neger not only addressed the immediate issue but Dr. McKenzie also performed exploratory surgery to resolve it completely. What really impressed me was that both doctors personally followed up after every visit to check on Luna's recovery. Luna is an absolute MENACE at home, and somehow, when she comes here, she is an absolute angel, and I fully believe it is because she knows she is in good hands. Highly recommend VCA Simmons; they truly care about your pet's well-being.

VCA Simmons—especially the Barker Hotel team—has been a true blessing in our lives. They have been the loving home of my brother, Max Fox, and I have witnessed firsthand the care, compassion, and genuine affection they have shown him over the years. Their kindness has meant more to our family than words can express. My parents, Donald and Charlene, trusted VCA Simmons with Max’s wellbeing, and that trust was always honored. When our father Donald passed away in February, it was an incredibly difficult time, but the way the staff continued to love and support Max made the journey a little easier for all of us. Now, with Charlene medically unable to care for Max, our family had to make one of the hardest decisions of our lives—entrusting him fully to someone else’s care. The entire staff at VCA Simmons stood by us through every step of that decision. One of their team members even stepped in immediately to ensure Max would continue to receive the love and stability he deserves. We will miss Max terribly, but we do not fear or worry. We know he is in good hands, surrounded by people who truly care for him. With love and gratitude to the entire staff, Max’s sister, Regina
