The commercial company itself I really hope they have a come to Jesus moment because wow they really up-charge you and charge you for things your dog doesn’t need. The four stars is truly for the staff. The staff aside from the corporation itself is amazing however this commercial company charges you for more things than what you actually need to give your animal. They are good in a pinch because of their hours but be prepared to pay $100 visit every time plus plus plus, you are better to sticking to family owned vet clinics where they actually care about your animal and give your dog what they need verse charge you for everything they need and don’t need. Where a $25 fecal exam at a family clinic here it’s $100 dollars. It’s just ridiculous the pricing they have at this hospital however if you get there $68 a month package you can have certain things covered. It’s just a damn shame these commercial companies take advantage of people for profit but then again look at the times we are in. Love the staff but the commercial company itself thumbs down.

VCA used to be great. But the last few years they have gone way down. Misdiagnoses, overbilling, needed procedures they failed to do, misinformation and just no communication. All they care about is money. And compassion is gone. Recently I took my cat in. She was constipated and dehydrated, 2K later they said she had diabetes. They then called at 6pm and said I had to pick her up and take her to er for overnight because her temp was down. Which I later found out is normal after anesthesia. When I called to come pick up they said they were closing. Finally agreed to wait for me. WTH? Anyway - it's a long story. As usual they wanted to put her in the hospital. 4k. For a few reasons I questioned the diabetes. Dr Keshe - very arrogant and rude - will NOT take any questions on his diagnoses. Just insisted he knows everything. I asked if I could give her fluids at home. I've done it before. And syringe feed her. NO. HOSPITAL. This is always their answer. They did this to my other cat 4 years ago and said he would die in a few months. He's still here by the way. Without the 5k hospital bill. I was told by syringe feeding her I was killing her if I didn't put her in hospital. Yes - they literally said that. I have since taken my cat elsewhere. We're giving her fluids and she's coming along and NO she does not have diabetes. And my new vet was kind enough to go over the bllodwork they did step by step and explain things. Went over xrays with me. Was very caring and compassionate. Encouraged questions. Thank god I got away from VCA. All they do is push overprices insurance and exorbitant fees. They've lost touch with actual caring and people.

‼️STAY AWAY. This clinic will push unnecessary treatments on your pets and drain your wallet.
We brought our two 10-week-old kittens to VCA — a decision we deeply regret. Despite providing their full vaccination records at check-in, the vet administered FVRCP and FeLV vaccines they did NOT need, then had the audacity to schedule us for multiple follow-up visits with even more of the same vaccines. Their "treatment plan" would have cost us over $600 for two kittens.
We got a second opinion. The verdict? Every single additional vaccine VCA recommended was unnecessary. Our kittens already had 3 prior FVRCP doses and were too young for more. The FeLV vaccine was not medically indicated at all. VCA saw our records, ignored them, and vaccinated our kittens anyway — then built a plan to keep charging us for more of the same.
This is not a mistake. This is a pattern.
And if that wasn't enough — they charge a $97 exam fee just for the doctor to physically administer the vaccine. On top of the vaccine cost. Just to show up.
Do not go to VCA! Do not trust their treatment plans without getting a SECOND OPINION first!
If you need routine vaccinations, go to your local shelter or a pet store clinic — same vaccines, a fraction of the price, zero upselling.
I cannot stress this enough: avoid this clinic and Dr. Darby Peterson at all costs. Your pets deserve better — and so does your bank account.
