    Walked in to drop off computer originally purchased at Best Buy for repair, 1 person in line, 7 tech people working at various stations, and was told we had to have an appointment, and if no appointment the next available time to drop off was 3 hours and 40 minutes later. What kind of service is this??? Website should say no walk in repairs accepted, appointments only! Wasted 20 miles to get to Best Buy, and now have to drive around for 3 + hours while waiting for the walk in appointment. As we were walking out, we saw 4 tech people sitting behind the counter with no one sitting in front of them. Where were their appointments? Why couldn't one them accept the computer for repair? Techs waiting for an appointment when no one was in line behind us? This change in their service model results in horrible customer service. The last time we walked in and dropped off the same computer for repair at the same Best Buy, the tech person saw us right away, no appointment needed!!! Whoever made this service model change should look at what this is doing to customers. Totally disappointed in the service and experience received from Best Buy and Geek Squad.

    Over 5 hours to replace a back glass and had to pay extra $$ for a service fee even though it was covered by Apple Care !!

    Had an in home apt set. No one showed, got a call saying tech had family emergency, fully understood. Problem however no back up tech, several days to next possible apt and leaving town. In store Geek Squad helpful and nice, third party sevice group worthless, no back up people, and totally unable to make anything happen. Best Buy Store GM and In store Geek Squad both trying to get answers from GS service with no luck. I found several IT service businesses in my area and unless I hear something asap I guess I will have to spend more out of pocket to hire someone else to do the job. Best Buy was Great. Geek Squad was a terrible exprience so far. In an area with nearly 1 million people it is unthinkable that the Geek Squad Home Service Dept has only ONE TECH and no coss trained techs or back ups to handle a laptop copy over set up in an area this large. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT

    No way to contact them they refuse to answer phone calls even to there national line. Operator tried several times they sent out a touch screen laptop only to return it without it being a touch screen. Simple repair send back switch screen and return they had it 4wks now I get a message to goto store 4 replacement which the squad guy told us at time we could switch or exchange they have nothing close to what we have in replacement so it will be a lower end computer. I can order the part on Amazon cheaper than the $50 charge yet they say they can’t get the part for it. The sad part about it is I joked with the check in guy about the repair not working so he laughed and said it happens and a guy earlier had a touch screen that when returned didn’t work I laughed and told him it was a touch screen and he’s like let’s make sure then the omg look it didn’t work so multiple devices on the same day came back with bad repairs. So guessing that guy is also being told they can’t fix and being offered a lower end product as well.
