It’s been over a month since my cat has been seen at this location that he was a frequent flyer at since a baby and I have seen such a beautiful improvement since I took him away from VCA. If I could give 0 stars for the “vets” and 5 stars for the technicians I would. From misdiagnosis after the next with pages long appointments and medications. The final straw was the floating vet that VCA allowed to cover from Deland Animal Hospital, Lauren Kuzimski told me repeatedly “he’s just going to die” if I didn’t immediately hospitalize without even doing a full exam bc “he growled” and had trace key tones so obviously he’s in DKA… BTW they wouldn’t even keep him for that treatment. Such a traumatic experience to have “vet” not help you when your pet is sick and give no alternative treatment options but instead judge you because you want options instead of following their incoherent logic to just hospitalize “since he’s sick and diabetic he’s in DKA”. My pet is alive and thriving! Literally living his best life since that day. Guess what? He has no key tones! Not in DKA, NOT DYING!! Lauren was 100% wrong and had the most disgusting attitude because I questioned her treatment plan.

We brought our 16-year-old dog to this clinic because she was bloated, lethargic, struggling to walk, and panting heavily. We requested euthanasia because we believed her quality of life had declined and did not want her to continue suffering. We were told she first needed a "quality of life" exam before euthanasia could be scheduled. Understood. We agreed and paid for the exam, blood work, and a fecal test. After the evaluation, we were told that her quality of life was in fact not poor, that she still had time left, and she was prescribed a pain medication and an arthritis medication. We disagreed and explained that she was no longer herself and based on her condition, we felt it was time to let her go peacefully. Despite our concerns, euthanasia was not recommended. Two weeks later, her condition deteriorated. She began vomiting large amounts of blood and was nearly choking on it. We rushed her to a local emergency vet, where she was euthanized to end her suffering. The emergency visit was expensive, and witnessing her decline to that point was traumatic. Our concerns were not taken seriously. Instead of supporting our decision, additional testing, medications, and follow-up care were recommended. Do not go here if you wish to end your pet’s suffering. This place is a money grab.

I genuinely cannot express how awesome this office is. Every single person I spoke to was kind, patient and full of information. I will be honest I had a lot of dumb/silly questions but everyone was happy to answer and educate me in the sake of taking care of my pet. They helped me get my cat on the right prevention and she’s genuinely back to her awesome self. Thank you guys very much

Revised May,19 ..Called and asked for some type of cream and /or ointment at day of appointment. My wife was told. "Its not necessary since the antibiotic shot will help" . Well that appointment date was April 20th.If the doctor and the woman Emily who said she would ask the doctor and some kind of creme like maybe a hydrocortisone creme was prescribed then my cat wouldn't still have bumps all over her body. Thanks alot Emily for not calling back or asking the doctor plus you neglected to put notes on the account, and thanks to the doctor who recommended another visit for more money. My wife and I took our cat Frida for a visit today and they were friendly, the prices were reasonable and took us on short notice. They also waived the examination fee for first time pet clients.. We came from Orange City.. Go see them. Worth the trip!
