Extremely frustrating with Geek Squad. I brought my laptop in because I was having issues with it, and I also brought the charger with me because I suspected the charging setup could be part of the problem. I was told they could not take the charger with the laptop to diagnose the issue, so I ended up paying $85 to have my laptop mailed in and assessed.
After all that, I was told that there was nothing wrong with my laptop and it was returned to me. When I received it back, Geek Squad was able to use a charger they already had behind the desk and, within about 15 seconds, determined that the problem was actually my laptop charger.
So I paid $85, waited for my laptop to be shipped away, and got it back with the same issue, an issue that could have been identified almost immediately if they had simply tested the charger in the first place before shipping it out. This also negated any chance of having this covered by the manufacturers warranty with my laptop being only 6 months old while it was shipped out.

I arrived an hour early for my Geek Squad appointment. Ari called my name before I could get comfortable! Ari was professional, too focused for small talk but courteous while diagnosing my monitor. He quickly determined the issue wasn’t with my monitor. It was a HDMI cable. Thank you Ari!
I recommend Geek Squad when you have issues with monitors!
