  Yesterday 8/18/26 we had to make one of the biggest decisions of our life as a family, we had to let our beloved Daisy an 8 yr old Shitzu, due to an aggressive disease that in 48hr deteriorated her inmune system to the point if no return, it was hard but Dr Patel and the whole team I’m sorry can’t remember their names, were amazing in support and resources. The Palomar family can’t thank them enough, always there for us, with all our fur kids! THANK YOU, THANK YOU,THANK YOU, VCA OF SHEELER LOCATION!

  My chi needed eye removal surgery. He had infection etc. They treated him promptly. They did a great job. Staff, and docs are very thorough, and attentive. You can tell they care for animals and take their jobs very seriously. My lil mighty Midas is doing great. Definitely recommend this place for vet care/ surgery needs etc. For pets.

  Last week was our first visit to VCA at Sheeler Road. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We arrived early and were seen early as well. Dr. Garrels was very loving to my dog, patient with all of my questions, and very knowledgeable and informative. We were previously at Banfield and I did not like the very impersonal nature of our visits and lack of responsiveness for prescriptions, etc. VCA is much farther for us but will be worth the drive going forward. We even got a goodie bag including dental treats and an extra dose of Simparico Trio for our first visit, which was also FREE! A few days later, we also received a thank you letter in the mail from the hospital manager. I just had to recognize this practice for going above and beyond. Thank you!!

  100% the best vet experience! From the beginning to end. Our tech met us outside first to assess and accommodate our german shepherd temperament, she then assisted and escorted us inside we were able to get our shepherd's weight and enter our exam room. The best part of our visit was having Glen and Dr. Ashley. Glen is absolutely a blessing, he is patient, transparent, professional but super pleasant and handled our shepherd like she was part of his family. Dr. Ashley came in completed her part and was ready to leave but then she turned to ask if we had questions and came back to sit with us and answered everything.To show us the attention she did and give us her time the way she did, represents her compassion and genuine concern for her patients and family. This is definitely our vet family! Thank you everyone!!!!
