  First disappointing experience at an Apple Store. This one is the closest to home, but I might eventually give another location a try, never again for Apple Altamonte. As I read the other reviews for them, I see that others have experienced the same 'upsell' service experience. I had purchased a brand-new Apple Watch over a year ago to have as a backup in case my current watch failed. I finally decided to swap devices, opened the box, plugged it in, and nothing... After trying the various suggestions online, I scheduled an appointment with the "genius" bar. Fine, it is clear that the device is not in the original return/warranty window, and after trying the same things I had at home, I was told that the battery likely died from not being charged for a long time (again, it was still in its box, never activated, so a different hardware issue is highly unlikely). Rather than suggest the obvious battery replacement service, I was presented with a $399 option for an out-of-warranty repair. Granted, battery repairs at any Apple Store are also full device swaps when it comes to watches, but they are one quarter of the cost I was presented. I was willing to pay for that but was not provided that option. I was bothered by their response, and I didn't think to ask about that option at the time. When I got a call back from the manager after leaving a poor review, I explained the same to him, but he stated, "we don't want to end up in a loop of endless repairs" (assuming it might not be a failed battery), and was told "maybe Apple can help"

  Let me tell you about Dre. Super polite, and told me 3 words after I told her my issue, "I got you". & man did she have me. Got me in and out real quick. Dre, tou the best !!!!!

  This store was awful. We made an appointment and they made us run a diagnostic to help diagnose the problem. We waited all day to come back for the appointment, waited almost an hour, only for them to run another diagnostic and tell us it’s a hardware issue and we would need to replace the phone. Why did we wait all day for that?! And sit there an hour? Especially with a dozen employees standing around chatting?Also while waiting another couple had been there for an hour and their tech came back to them and literally said “oh, wow. I totally forgot about you. I wondered why you kept looking at me?” Also 2 people came in without appointments and were seen before us. Legitimately the worst customer service.

  Had a great experience tonight, thanks to Alvin. He made sure to actually have a conversation with me and not just sell me a phone. We spent time talking about his baby girl and even shared some similarities like flying airplanes. I appreciate going to places and having people like him there!

  Worst experience ever they are scamming people. Went in to get a phone repaired. They said they couldn’t fix and would need to replace the phone. 3-5 business inconvenient but we agreed. Call back after 5 business days. They said they are delayed and would be 7-10 days. Frustrated but I continued to wait. Now we are sitting here on the 11th business day still no phone and they refuse to do anything. They are just preying on the fact that people need their phones and won’t wait. 0 communication never received a call or anything! I would stay far away from this location if you expect any help.
