  i’ve been going to this apple store for almost a decade now, and the service is not what it used to be. over the past few years the service has gone downhill. for my most recent visit i made an appointment on a weekday at 2pm, and after getting checked in, i sat for over 20 minutes without being talked to. i would have understood if they warned of a long wait time, but all i was told was that somebody will be with me in just a minute. i had to leave after 20 minutes unfortunately and i let the genius member overseeing check-ins know, but they didn’t seem to care. no apology, no update on wait times, nothing. it’s sad that this is the only apple store within 30 minutes of my house. whether i like it or not, i will probably come back out of necessity.

  I live two hours away. I placed an order for a phone online and scheduled a pickup time. I called and confirmed with Apple, who said it would be ready by the pickup time. I'm standing in the Apple store right now 9 hours later and almost 2 hours of waiting after my scheduled time. It's still not ready, I called Apple after the store told me to. They told me my credit card company wasn't releasing the funds, and to call them. I called them, who said it was authorized and that Apple just wasn't processing it. I called Apple back, who said it definitely wasn't the credit card company, but that it could take a half hour to 5 hours for them (Apple) more to process it . . . even though it was over 8 hours at that point. The recommended that I cancel the order and just walk into the store to buy it. I did so, but if course I'm now 2 hours after my appointment time so they put me back in queue, where I'm just standing and waiting. I had to wait 15 minutes in line just to get into the queue. I did talk to 2 employees who were just talking with each other, but they said that they couldn't help me. All I want to do is a 5-minute transaction, I just want to buy an unlocked phone and walk out.

  I have been waiting for an hours and all the employees doing nothing and the line getting longer, they don’t even care. What is happening with Apple Store ?

  App allowed me to set up an appt a week ago at 2:45 showed up at 2:30 checked in didn’t get seen till 3:15 then the window to fix the back glass was 5hrs so 8pm if they get to it today. For sure done by first thing morning. Who is going to leave there phone overnight for the simplest fix on the phone. Multiple people got help who checked in after me even a lady who didn’t have an appt got help before me. This is why I’m switching back to android

  The worst Genius Bar on the planet. Had my phone repaired here two months ago for a camera issue and now suddenly my 17 pro cannot handle a drop of water and literally drowns in 30 seconds in the pool, leaving me without a phone for a whole week while I was out of the country. Instead of acutally trying to make my life easier, I had to wait for them to run diagnostics to further waste my time by telling me they do not have a replacement device in stock and that I can "give them my phone" and come back to get the replacement in 5-9 days. I came to the Apple Store to get a replacement immediately. It was in fact easier to just order a replacement through express support. I now have a brand new phone to return within 14 days. Thanks Apple!
