You have 96 hours from the time of an encounter to receive a rabies booster. We needed him to be checked for wounds. They would not even see our dog because he was sprayed by a skunk. They said bring him back when he doesn’t stink. Skunk smell is not gone quickly…luckily we were able to schedule a vet visit. Not the first time they have been so much less than they should be. I wish I could give -⭐️

I brought my little dog there on late afternoon for suspected dog poisoning, I was told that my dog needed to stay the next day but nutritional for 24hrs because I would have to pay a fee of $700.00 if my dog stayed from 8pm to 8pm the next day; i was told and given a receipt papers claiming at the bottom that I was only going to pay between 2,500.00- 3,500.00 , and that I wasnt going to pay that max amount because I was to bring my Dog before it came to 8pm? Guess what it was all lies, because they kept my dog until 8pm by force because when I wanted to pick up my dog earlier so I wouldn't be charged extra, the doctor wanted me to not come before 8pm. I came at 8pm and when they gave me my dog back, I couldn't recognize my dog on how drugged up he was from 6 different medications they have given him that night, which my dog came in happy and alert. They wanted me in addition of paying $700.00 in cash and $1200.00 with my credit card, handed me another bill ( stating I had to put a down payment before I left of $3,000.00 and a balance of $2,000.00 in order to leave the hospital, which they handed me a bill at the beginning of my visit that I was only going to be charged less than $3,000.00 dollars? I brought my dogs favorite blanket and they also unprofessionally "LOST MY BLANKET" that had puppy dogs on it, and they said they didnt send bills to customers homes, which later they sent me additional bill of $2000.00 for unknown charges because my dog wasnt fed and they said they emwoukd give my dog rotisserie chicken and would give to her in little pieces, but realized they didnt give my dog anything they just left my dog in a back room cage not fed because my dog was "GOBBLING DOWN HER FOOD WHEN I PRESENTED HER A BOWL OF CHICKEN TO HER" THAT SAME NIGHT. " WARNING" IF ANYONE BRINGS THEIR DOG / CAT TO THIS VET NEVER SIGN ANYTHING OR MAKE SURE YOU GET IN WRITONG WHAT "EXACTLY" THEY'RE INTENT OF PROCEDURE THEY'RE GOING TO PERFORM ON YOU PET BEFORE YOU LET THEM TREAT YOUR ANIMAL; THEY WILL TRY TO "MILK YOU" FOR EVERY DIME THAT THEY CAN POSSIBLY CAN OUT OF YOUR WALLET" THEY SAID MY TOTAL WAS $1,900.00 DOLLARS OF THE FIRST RECEIPT I WAS GIVEN ( $700.00 IN CASH AND $1200.00 ON CREDIT) BUT I WAS SLAPPED WITH A "MAIL IN BILL OF AN ADDITIONAL $2,000.00 BILL, WHICH I WOULD'VE AVOIDED IF I WASNT FORCED BY THE DOCTOR TO LEAVE MY DOG UNTIL NO LATTER THAN 8PM WHEN I WANTED TO PICK MY DOG UP AT 3PM THAT SAME DAY SO I WOULDNT BE CHARGED THAT EXTRA $700.00 AND ADDITIONAL FEES. " I WONT BE BRINGING ANY ANIMAL TO THIS EMERGENCY VET".

Dr. Berkwitt and his tech Nyla are the best. My beautiful cat, Snow White passed away a couple of weeks ago at home. She would have been 18 years old on May 31. Dr. Berkwitt is professional, knowledge and a very pleasant and friendly vet doctor who cares about animals. His tech Nyla is also the best. She is professional, friendly and very compassionate. I would highly recommend Shoreline Veterinarian Hospital if you need help with your pets. Linda K

We unfortunately had to put our 20 year old kitty down last week since it was her time to see the rainbow bridge🌈🐾the receptionists were so incredibly kind to me and my mother, they even shared a big hug of comfort with us which was so empathetic and kind. They made sure we took as long as we needed to say goodbye and understood just how difficult it can be to let go of a life-long friend. The doctor that came in to put her to sleep we so incredibly sweet and took the time to speak with us about our favorite memories of our kitty. She explained everything she was doing when injecting the medicine to when she had passed. We just got her ashes back and I can’t thank the VCA team enough. They made such a difficult time in our life easier which is truly a blessing. Thank you VCA for your kindness and support we will always feel comforted knowing our kitty went in the most comforting way possible. ❤️🐾🌅
