    I scheduled an appointment more than 36 hours in advance, showed up as planned, and was told on the spot that the battery wasn’t even in stock. That’s basic incompetence. A simple email or call ahead of time could’ve saved me the trip—there’s no excuse for wasting a customer’s time like that. The lack of communication and preparation here is unacceptable. If this is how appointments are handled, what’s the point of booking one at all? No wonder this location is sitting at 3.3 stars on Google—experiences like this make it make sense. I’d strongly recommend going to a different location—this one clearly doesn’t value its customers or their time.

    Made a reservation at 10:40 and wasn’t seen until 11:30. Not sure why they o love you! Have one person working the desk and no one to check if the next person in line has a reservation

    I brought an almost ten year old MacBook in to see about a battery replacement. I made the appointment through Apple's website. When I arrived they were running behind a bit, but I didn't mind waiting. When I was eventually able to speak with the associate about the issue, I was immediately shut down about a repair and encouraged to just buy a new laptop. The associate kept cutting me off and speaking over me, insisting the laptop was 'obsolete' and a lost cause. It was such an unpleasant interaction that I brought it into Apple the next day, needing to hear it from a second source. There I received a completely different response. The device is considered 'vintage' and they were able to take it in for the battery replacement (plus fix a couple of keys for me on the spot). Ultimately if you're looking for an older Apple repair, I would just skip trying here and go to Apple. The only reason I am not leaving a lower review is all of the other Best Buy employees were very friendly and at the end of the day, I can't vouch for Geek Squad's actual repair service.
