Went in for a emergency puppy care visit on Friday for a broken tooth. Was given medication, Carprofren 75mg 1 tab every 12 hours, it was given to me in a green bottle, with a label they printed off and dispensed the medication themselves into the bottle. I was given no medicine information or warnings from the manufacturer. Only thing staff told me was "its like ibuprofen, if he gets diarrhea you need to call us." This medication caused side effects like not eating. He got extremely lethargic and stopped eating over the weekend. I called right away monday morning because of how seriously his condition changed over the weekend.I scheduled an appointment to be seen at 230 today and then 15 min later received a voice mail saying they refuse to see him again. They gave him medication that made him sick and then refused to help him or even let me speak to an office manager. They weren't even willing to put him on a different medication without me bringing him in for blood work and charging me another 300$ I still agreed to come and the vet suddenly refused service. Ive had to make another emergency appointment with a different office today because of the severe side effects from the medication he was given. Ive asked they send the records from Friday, hopefully they do as Ive never got a response back. Also during the phone calls "Aubrey " the technician never told me that these were possible serious side effects to the medication. The specialist who is out of town, who can do the root canal called me back, listened for real about my dog symptoms and he was the one who told me this was signs of a very serious reaction and he needed to be seen. While I was on the phone with him, Aubrey called and left me a voice mail refusing to see my dog. I called her back and cried and begged both her and the front staff to please help my dog as he was was in a desperate situation with the symptoms. I was told "oh well there is nothing we can do, our office manager is out of town." They didnt even advise me to discontinue the medication. They completely ignored what they did to him. Also when I told Aubrey the other vet suggested it was a medication overdose she smirked as she told me "that is very rare, like 1 in 10" I happen to have a very rare dog. A calupoh , a Mexican wolf dog. This place is one of the few who offers exotic vet, animal help. Apparently they dont know how or care to try and help wolf dogs EDIT- I TOOK MY DOG TO ANOTHER OFFICE WHO CONFIRMED HE WAS HAVING A SERIOUS ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE CARPROFEN. THESE PEOPLE POISONED MY DOG THEN TREATED ME HORRIBLY FOR BEING UPSET AND NOT AGREEING TO AN IMMEDIATE EXTRACTION INSTRAD OF WAITING FOR A SPECIALIST. THEY GAVE HIM SOMETHING THAT ALMOST KILLED HIM THEN REFUSED TO HELP HIM. I WILL BE FILLING FORMAL COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM FOR MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE. ALSO THEY ADVERTISE A FIRST FREE VISIT FALSELY. I WAS CHARGED 156$ TO HAVE MY DOG POISONED AND IGNORED. IM DEMANDING A REFUND. THE OFFICE MANAGER STILL HAS NOT CONTACTED ME. I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW WITH THEIR RESPONSE TO THE REFUND. THE SPECIALIST WHO CAN DO THE POSSIBLE ROOT CANAL IS HAPPY TO WORK WITH THE NEW OFFICE AS WELL. THEY PURPOSELY DELAYED HIS CARE AFTER OVERDOSING HIM. STAY SAFE FRIENDS Edit number 2- I got a full refund of the 1st visit that took place friday. Im extremely upset this happened to my dog. Im not taking the review down as i feel people need to be truly WARNED about this staff and how they will treat you and your animals in an emergency situation. What blows my mind even more... is the specialist they work with REGULARLY is the one who pointed out the emergency. THEY TREATED HIS CALL LIKE IT WAS NOTHING AS WELL. stay the hell away from this place! And remember is the state of Colorado medical neglect is also charged as animal abuse. I will be doing continuing blood work and if my dog shows ANY signs of kidney or liver issues in the near future you will be paying for those bills too. Have a great day 😁

I love this place. They seriously care about every animal that is brought into them. They worked very hard to make sure my cat did not die when he was almost gone. They take care of my 16 year old cat also.

I've been to a few vets in the valley and this place is where I'm going to stay. They've educated me on my pets issue and have helped me financially. I recommend this hospital and will eventually take my other pets in as well.
