Really it’s no stars. Absolutely, do not take your pet to this clinic for care for any reason. They can’t even manage simple preventative care well. The staff are incompetent all around. We go to this clinic because my husband works in veterinary medicine, so we get a discount. Let me tell you, the discount is not worth the trouble. They cannot do the easiest tasks right. It takes weeks to get medication refills and literally nothing has ever gone smoothly. They love to give the excuse that they are busy, but my husband worked in veterinary primary care, and we know they are not THAT busy. We brought one of our dogs in for a scheduled routine dental and were told to arrive at 7:30am. They were in a different building and no one told us. Once he figured that out, he and our dog were then placed in an exam room and he was there for 30 min. No one ever came in. He went to leave with our dog and the front desk person went to the back and the director never came out. As usually, no one seemed to have a clue what was going on. The staff, the medical director, and the leadership of this facility should be extremely embarrassed of how inefficient and poorly run this clinic is. My husband will be trying to get in touch with regional leadership or someone from corporate. We don’t expect anything to be done or even to receive a call from the medical director as promised. I am mainly posting this to hopefully save people from bringing their beloved pets to this clinic expecting good care. We will no longer attempt to trust this clinic with our precious animals’ care and you shouldn’t either.

This place is owned by Mars. You know the candy bar company? You're crazy if you bring your animals to a place like this. Do your research!

My Personal First Experience:
Great Team Members and amazing Doctors. I'm a new Pet Parent, Noni and Dr. Vega were so patient and helpful to me!! They were eager to answer any questions or concerns I had. Honestly, a beautifully peaceful space and environment. Super confident they'll take care of my first ever adopted furry friend in the future and include all the works to make him feel very comfortable from routine annual visits to any major concerns. Me and my new buddy are thankful to have found this place!!

After adopting a 3 month old puppy, we started all his vaccinations at VCA. The vet was great, however, the techs were not. They accused us of having another dog. After stating this was our first animal and we didn’t have any other pets, the tech had an attitude. After administering vaccinations, for some reason the tech took him to the back and we heard our puppy yelp. When they came back in the room, our little 3 month old pup seemed “off”. She stated he can’t come back unless we sedated him with absolutely no explanation. Throughout the year, they have scheduled an appointment with us on a day they were closed. They have rescheduled us another time because they were in a meeting, they flat out don’t answer the phone, I have made multiple trips to them since they don’t answer the phone only to see a note on the door for lunch or a meeting…. After switching vets, we were told by the new vet that after waiting over a week to get his vet records from VCA, they had also told our new vet that he was aggressive. Our dog has never once been aggressive. EVER. Maybe other people have good luck with VCA, however, our multiple experiences and subpar interactions left me feeling uneasy about this place.

I had extra years with my dog thanks to VCA. Thank you for putting up with me I was a mess. We should of come back this time I went CSU. Horrible time Koda was misdiagnosed. Then Koda was denied care. The resident told me they won't heal Koda's wound. What healer says that? Not we well do the best we can not we can't we won't. The surgery center director told me I would not beable to get care at any other hospital so I gave up. We should have came back to VCA. If you must go to CSU go on a school day. If you go another time half the care 2x the price and misdiagnosed.
Thank you soo much VCA
