    Needed to ship a computer monitor and asked to use one of the shipping boxes they were getting rid of. They said no simply because “they don’t usually do that kind of thing”. I understand companies have policies etc. but the fact that they were unable to even entertain a creative solution tells me they are comfortable with the business they have and the impression they leave with customers is secondary at best. I’d say go somewhere else but if you need to patronize this store don’t expect anything more than pure transaction.

    If I could give less then a one i would! WORST INSTAL - DO NOT TRUST THEM. Best buy uses a third party instal. THEY HAVE NO IDEA who these people are. Installed a massive TV and sound bar then messed it up - did it all wrong and ghosted us on repairs. Cant talk to ANYONE at the store! You call customer service and they just book you another instal with the same person and they never show up!! They don't call - they don't text - they dont email. Wont refund the instal and wont come fix it. No manager to speak to and no accountability. We spent hours on the phone with best buy and waiting at our house during the "arrival windows" for no shows just to sit on hold with best buy again. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE..... LITERALLY ANY WHERE ELSE. We will never shop there again.

    Was told otter boxes only have a 2 week warranty and I'd have to buy a new one. They lied i called otter box directly and they sa8d no they have 1 years replacement and up to 7 years. I hate that I got told a lie. Well 75 dollars poorer only to be told send otterbox the broke one they'd replace it for the cost of shipping.

    Apparently when this store sends you an email that your item purchased online will be ready for pickup in an hour, that's not so. You get to the store, the item is not ready even though the items are stored like 40 ft from the pickup counter. I spoke to a salesperson, they said it might actually take 2 hours. After about 1 hr and 45 min, I went back to see if the order is ready. Another person at the counter said the item is not ready yet. I asked more questions and it turns out that it's becase of fraud verification. For what? This is a US card, connected to my ID, and I used it today already for purchases. Nobody asked me for fraud verification. I told the salesperson that I have my ID and the card I used to pay for it, along with the email and order number. They said there was nothing they could do but, get this, if I bought it upright, in the store, they'd refund the amount already charged on my CC within 5 days. So if I buy it in the store and charge the same CC directly, they do not do fraud verification. Anyone can steal my wallet, come in here and buy whatever, and they don't get verified, but I bought this on their website, I can show every single detail necessary for verification, and they are not releasing the item that's literally sitting 40 ft away. This warrants further complaints to regulatory agencies. It's now been 2 hours since the purchase and still no way to pick it up. This is just to induce customers to make two purchases for the same product. It's basically a scam. Update: after over 2 hours, when now a third employee has told me I could just buy it right now in the store, and I'll be issued a refund for the online purchase, I'm canceling the order. When I asked what's the holdup and how come an instant purchase gets instant verification but an online purchase goes through hours and hours of verification, the manager said: "we don't know, it's between Best Buy and your CC company". No, it isn't, I bet my CC company hadn't been contacted for verification. This is on purpose, so BB can charge you 2 purchases and retain double the funds for as long as they can for whatever accounting juggling they do. Scammy business model.

    I would strongly caution against ordering appliances from Best Buy based on my experience. I have been trying to get a stove delivered for over two months, and the process has been extremely frustrating. My original online order was delayed three separate times, each delay pushing delivery back by about two weeks. After that, the store advised me to cancel the online order and purchase directly through them, saying they would have better control over the process. Unfortunately, that did not improve anything. I am now in the exact same situation—another delay, no clear information on where the stove is, and no real solution offered. To make matters worse, the in-store management was unhelpful and came across as quite rude during the process. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, with poor communication, repeated delays, and lack of accountability. I would not recommend purchasing appliances here if you are relying on timely delivery.
