  This clinic is wonderful! I have been coming here for years. Dr. Kubik has been our main vet majority of the time. She is amazing and friendly. She provides us with detailed information, explains things in terms we understand and if we bring an issue to her that she hasn't experienced yet, she takes the time to research and consult with other vets. I recently had an emergency with my pup, Moya. When I left the ER clinic, I stopped by to pickup some meds for my other animals. I brought Moya in since the car was hot. Dr. Kubik saw my dog by the front desk. She took the time to talk with me and to look at Moya. She was very busy and didn't have to do that but she is a wonderful compassionate vet who cares about her patients. The other staff members are fantastic as well. Dani, from the front desk, is my dog's favorite person there. She goes right to her side of the desk wanting Dani's attention and Dani makes the time to show my pup some love. It's heart warming when I see my dog getting excited as we drive up to the clinic. They know she loves her milk bones and love to give them to her. I have 5 animals, my 5th animal will soon be a patient here too. We also moved 40 minutes away and we still come to this place - that's how much we love and trust this place and the staff. Thank you, VCA Smoky Hill Animal Hospital, for all that you do and for the love you show our pets!

  I had two positive experiences here previously, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, when my family needed our primary vet the most, we were turned away. On Saturday morning, our dog suddenly started having seizures. Because the clinic was closed, we called around looking for someone who could see us sooner. Nearly every place we contacted immediately suggested euthanasia without even an exam. We decided to wait until Monday so our primary vet, who knew our dog's history, could give us the best and most trustworthy advice. When we called first thing Monday morning, we were told they couldn't get us in until Thursday and were advised to take him to VCA Alameda instead. The same vet that was telling us not to go there unless we were ready to spend $8k or euthanize. Feeling completely lost, we kept searching and found another vet in Parker who showed us the compassion we had been hoping for. They rearranged their schedule to see us the very same day, sat on the floor with us and our dog, took the time to explain every option, and treated us with genuine empathy instead of rushing to the worst-case scenario. That experience showed us what veterinary care should feel like. We have found our forever vet, and because of how we were treated when it mattered most, I can't recommend this VCA clinic.

  They are great and so compassionate. They did an amazing job taking care of my Dyna Bebe. Sometimes we have to say goodbye to a passed on pet. Such a great place to help you with those and other needs for you babies.

  My Wife and I Love VCA Smokey Hill. Dr Krazn is very through, gives great recommendations and is all around great at what she does. She loves our dog Remy and is so good with him. He is a rescue and can be very timid of strangers and he trusts her. Thank you Dr Krazn and the staff for being so wonderful!
