  Dr. Aghashani is a very kind professional and provided a thorough and excellent procedure for my dog. Dr. Aghashani was very thorough, kind, and explained everything clearly.

  Excellent communication and expert detailed attention - from diagnosis, throughout surgery, post surgery and during my cat's overnight recovery (including a photo for cat mom!), clear review of post surgical care instructions and communication of ‘follow up' details from test reports for cultures and biopsies that required extra time.

  Dr. Nurre and his staff treated our 14 year old Lakeland Terrier at VCA Encina Veterinary Clinic and we were very pleased with the results. After extensive testing, Dr. Nurre diagnosed back and disc deterioration and then prescribed prednisone which has brought new life to our beloved Tesla. She is in much less pain and is eating and more active. We are very thankful and grateful for the care Tesla received at VCA Encina. Everyone there has been very supportive and very kind.

  We saw Dr. Nurre for both of our dogs here. He helped us navigate a scary liver issue with one and a urinary issue as a puppy with another. The follow up, expertise, care and all around attention given was outstanding. I cannot recommend him and his assistant Corrine enough. He's a very knowledgeable internist that has continued to help over the last 3 years. Their communications have also been top notch.

  While I will say the staff seemed kind and caring...I will never return to this office again. I was there for several hours with absolutely no communication. I watched several other people and their pets come and go and in the end they weren't able to do much for my kitty.....I do realize that emergency cases take precedents and I really don't mind waiting my turn but the lack of communication during the 4.5 hours i was there was inexcusable. They took my little boy to the back room at about 945am, a doctor finally came and spoke to me at 115pm, and they finally brought my boy out at 2pm. I did atleast leave feeling comfortable knowing that my boy would be okay until im able to get him in to see his primary vet later in the week but, He was in their back room somewhere, trapped in his travel cage for all that time while they put several other pets needs above his. I find that very sad, I cried on the way home for what he had to go through all alone without me their to comfort him.
