I always have a great experience at this animal hospital. They take care of my guinea pigs and took care of my hedghehog when she needed surgery. I wish I was closer to them but im glad they have a veterinarian who sees pocket pets. 30 minute drive is worth the peace of mind I can get with their help looking after my girls. They're always kind and attentive as well. Wonderful animal hospital ❤️ thank you so much to everyone there

New kitty got their first wellness visit and as a new client this clinic was fast and efficient.

Absolutely horrific experience. This clinic should be ashamed of the way they treated both me and my dog. I brought in my 10-year-old pit bull because he had stopped eating for about a day and a half and had a lump on his abdomen. Without running a SINGLE test, biopsy, scan, or blood panel, the vet immediately and aggressively pushed euthanasia, insisting my dog had terminal cancer and there was “nothing” that could be done. When I asked for a biopsy or any actual diagnostics, the dr basically refused and told me it “wouldn’t change the outcome.” They even told me I needed to “come to Jesus” and accept that this is what happens to dogs. Completely disgusting, insensitive, and unprofessional behavior toward someone terrified for their family pet. The most disturbing part was when I said I wanted to take my dog home for a second opinion. Instead of respecting that decision, they threatened to call animal control on me for animal abuse if I didn’t follow their recommendation. I felt bullied, manipulated, and emotionally cornered while trying to make a life or death decision for my dog. I ended up leaving with pain meds for my dog so they wouldn’t escalate the situation and so I could take my dog somewhere else’s The second veterinarian actually did their job. They examined my dog properly and determined the lump was BENIGN and removable with a minor surgery. They told me my dog was actually in relatively good health for his age. After surgery and antibiotics, he is now recovering and doing great. This clinic was fully prepared to have me put down a dog that did NOT have terminal cancer without even bothering to do the bare minimum testing first. That is beyond unacceptable. If you love your pets, stay far away from this place.

12-13 years ago VCA was the best but after covid their staff and customer service has declined immensely. Staff and doctors are quick to dismiss your needs and they go back on promises made to make a fast dollar. Do not take your pets here! This is unfortunate that this is the only place that the humane society gave you a voucher for your new pets check-up.

Came into the vet to get my gecko treated for eye infection and possible internal issues due to recent closing of eyes, not eating and some bloody stools. He assured me that he didn’t have a upper respiratory infection because his breathing was great and that the eyes were gone completely due to the infection and that it’s hard to say whether take home medication would help him or not (as far as the eyes). I paid $210 for antibiotics and pain meds and 15 minutes later he died in my arms. This is why I hate coming to vets. Second death in less than a month and different vet. Why can’t you just tell us over the phone instead of charging us just to have them die minutes later? SCAM
