  We only go to Clarmar! We’ve been driving from Orange County to VCA Clarmar in Torrance for 30 years. Our pets show up in our yard and adopt us and seem to come to us with allergies to food and/or the environment. Everyone at Clarmar is really nice and loves animals. We’ve been there a lot so we know if it’s urgent, let them know. Our favorite doctors are Dr. Miller and now Dr. Trey Shimizu. (We haven’t seen the other doctors). All the receptionists have a calm voice and the technicians are amazing! If you or your pet gets really anxious going to the vet, let them know when you make your appointment and they can advise you. They have a dedicated cat room too! Your fur babies are in good hands at Clarmar! Highly recommend them!

  This place is so wonderful. We brought our yorkie Little Joe for 10 years and now our sweet Cavapoo Lucie . It is a beautiful office, and the staff are so kind, Nice and so caring. In all these years we have never had any problems. They go the extra mile. Dr Miller is just so amazing she spends time with us, offers great treatment plans and just loves animals. I recommend this wonderful place and know if you see them you will Not only get quality care but you will get kindness and compassion. Thank you Dr. Miller and all the wonderful staff!

  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I am a very busy person with a packed schedule, and I specifically made time to bring my dog in for her vaccine appointment. Before leaving my house, I carefully checked the VCA app to confirm the address, and there was absolutely no indication that the office had moved, and I never received any email, text, or phone call notifying me about the change. I even checked Yelp as well. Because of this, I ended up driving to the wrong location and arrived late through no fault of my own. I explained the situation, but instead of showing understanding, I was told I was “16 minutes late” and no doctor visit. What upset me most was the complete lack of empathy and accountability for the confusion caused by their outdated information. I rearranged my day and wasted valuable time because their system was inaccurate. At this point, I honestly do not even want to reschedule or come back.
