    I visited the Apple Store in Thousand Oaks today and spoke with a representative to book a technician appointment. He provided a QR code, which I scanned on his iPad. The system confirmed my appointment for 15 minutes later. Within four minutes, I received a text message instructing me to notify the representative that I had arrived. At that moment, I was standing just four feet away from the same representative. He looked at me, smiled, and said a technician would be with me shortly. I waited over 20 minutes with no update. When I approached the representative to ask for an ETA, he told me, “You didn’t let us know you were here.” This was the same person who had given me the QR code and booked the appointment. He then offered to book me for a new time slot — while I was already standing there after waiting 20 minutes with my one-year-old.

    BELKIN screen protector I purchased this screen protector at the same time I bought my iPhone, expecting a premium product given the high price. Unfortunately, it has been a major disappointment. After a relatively short period of use, the protector is already peeling and breaking apart. When I contacted the store, they told me that I needed to register the product with Belkin to activate the warranty—something that was never clearly explained at the time of purchase. It feels like there is always some kind of excuse or loophole instead of taking responsibility for a faulty product. For the price, I expected durability and reliable customer support. This product does not meet those expectations.

    I drove 50 miles specifically to buy a phone that your website clearly showed as available. When it came time to pay, I was told I couldn’t use my gift card in-store and had to order online instead. That makes absolutely no sense—why list the product as available for pickup if you refuse to sell it on the spot? I even asked directly whether there was an issue with my gift card, and your staff said no—yet still refused to complete the purchase. Instead of giving a clear explanation, they kept making up vague excuses. It honestly felt like they simply didn’t want to sell that specific model, possibly due to internal shortages or because it was already promised to someone else. On top of that, the customer service in the store was terrible. From the moment I walked in, the employee didn’t even bother to approach me—just waved me over rudely from a distance. That’s not how customers should be treated. I then contacted support, hoping for some clarity, but the experience was just as bad. Right when the representative started checking my gift card, the call mysteriously dropped. No follow-up, no resolution. This whole experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time. If your systems or policies don’t allow certain payment methods in-store, be transparent about it upfront. And most importantly, train your staff to treat customers with basic respect.
