The kindness, care and responsiveness of the staff and doctor here (we saw Dr Barnes) is everything you would hope and expect for a facility dealing with our beloved pets. We came in for a cat who ingested a foreign object, and were treated promptly and thoroughly. Staff continued to call and check in afterwards to make sure our baby was okay. And , months later , they are going above and beyond helping us deal with some bogus pet insurance issues! Extra thank you to Julie and everyone at VCA.

While the doctor was nice, she downplayed the severity of my dogs joint issue, and just attempted to refer us to make an additional $300 consultation with a specialist (also vca). Reception did not look up from their computers, assist us at all when we walked in or be helpful in any way. The veterinary assistant was great and sweet and treated our pup great! Find a better place that does not try to take advantage of you and your pets while pretending like they care. (This was not our first experience with them. Everything they carry can be found at at least 25% less that what they charge).

I have nothing but amazingly good things to say about VCA TLC Pasadena. I have never stepped into a Veterinary Hospital in my life which was all quite traumatic being that my cat got bit by a coyote the night before. The people at the desk greeted me with friendly sincerity which helped me to feel that they would be able to help me and my cat. The ER Vet Dr Kim was very knowledgeable explaining the current condition of my cat before performing a more thorough examination and saying the injury could possibly involve surgery. If surgery was needed, it would be performed this same day and Dr Little would be the doctor performing the surgery. I was definitely hoping that expensive surgery would not be required but it was more of a wait and see situation. Out of compassion and generosity the operation was performed por gratis. To date, we are so grateful and appreciative of Dr Little's care for my cat. I am learning so much about how to care for my cat and I regard highly VCA TLC Pasadena as my go to place for my cat's ongoing health needs.

Dr. Kim and the front desk team were fantastic with handling my dog's frightening attack by a coyote. She had a bite on her tail and they were wonderful with communicating the process with me, and with handling my nervous dog. They were also transparent about potential costs and offered options on her care. Thank you, VCA South Pas!

Super unprofessional. Empty parking, empty waiting room. They tell us the doctor is new, it’s going to be 3-4 hour wait. Okay…. 2 hours later they tell us they don’t think the doctor is going to see us and to try somewhere else. Lovely.
