  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this veterinary clinic. I scheduled my cat’s annual exam and routine bloodwork a month in advance with her regular veterinarian. I have a very demanding work schedule, so I specifically plan medical appointments well ahead of time. When I arrived, I was told that her regular veterinarian would not be working until November. Even more frustratingly, I was then informed that my appointment had never actually been entered into their calendar and had simply been forgotten. The solution they offered was for me to leave my cat there for the entire day so that she could potentially be seen by another veterinarian whom I had never met. They could not even tell me how much this visit would cost because, according to them, all of the doctors were busy. My biggest concern was my cat’s medication. She takes an ongoing, life-critical medication, and I needed to make sure she would not run out. I explained that I would prefer to have her regular veterinarian handle her care, but I was told that they could not help with the medication unless another doctor examined her first. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of flexibility or effort to find a reasonable alternative. The clinic made a mistake by failing to record an appointment that I had scheduled a month in advance, yet I was the one expected to accommodate their mistake, rearrange my schedule, leave my cat there all day, see an unfamiliar doctor, and potentially pay an unknown amount. For a veterinary clinic, I expect much better communication, organization, and continuity of care—especially when it involves an existing patient and an important ongoing medication. I left feeling that my cat’s care and my time were simply not a priority. I will be looking for another veterinary clinic.

  Dr Lavac saw my dog Bruno today for a wellness exam. It was our first visit here and Dr Lavac took his time to thoroughly examine Bruno and answer all my questions. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Bruno and I both felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend this VCA!
