  The office is always very clean and the staff are super nice. The doctors are great and listen to your concerns. Never had a bad experience here.

  I’m completely blown away and amazed at how kind and supportive the staff at VCA was. They went above and beyond and comforted me in a really hard moment. They even wrote a hand written note after my cat passed. They helped guide me through her sickness. I’m so glad I switched vets for the end of my cats life and wish I had sooner. It makes me emotional thinking of how great this staff was!!

  There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for the entire team at VCA Animal Hospital Santa Monica. From Dr. Martinez and Dr. Hertz to every nurse, veterinary technician, receptionist, and staff member, this isn't just a veterinary office—it's a family that truly loves and cares for every animal that walks through its doors. Dr. Hertz has cared for my cats Alfred, Wembley, Ollie, and previously my sweet Mavis. When Mavis passed away last year, the entire staff shared in my heartbreak. Emma even gave me a hug when I needed it most. That kindness is something I will never forget. Every visit feels personal. The moment we walk through the door, we're greeted with smiles and, "Hi, Alfred! How are you today?" They know my pets by name, they know their personalities, and they genuinely celebrate the good days while standing beside us during the difficult ones. When Alfred became lethargic, Dr. Martinez immediately recognized that something was seriously wrong and urged me to take him to the emergency hospital without hesitation. That quick judgment and compassion helped save his life. Today, Alfred is back to being his happy, grumpy 18-year-old self, and I couldn't be more thankful. Finding a veterinary team you trust with your family is priceless. I trust this entire office with all of my heart. Their compassion, professionalism, expertise, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything they do. If you're looking for a veterinary hospital where every person—from the front desk to the doctors—treats your pets as if they were their own, I cannot recommend VCA Animal Hospital Santa Monica highly enough. They have been there for my family through joyful moments, heartbreaking losses, and medical emergencies, and I will be forever grateful for each and every one of them. Thank you for loving Alfred, Wembley, Ollie, Mavis, and so many other beloved pets. You truly make a difference every single day.

  I definitely recommend VCA Main Street. I had an emergency and had to bring my dog in and they saw him right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also followed up after my appointment to check on my dog.
