Here’s a more natural, balanced review:
The customer service was disappointing. Several sales representatives were standing around chatting instead of helping customers. Since you have to check in with a representative at the entrance before someone is assigned to assist you, there’s no way to simply ask an available associate for help. The only alternative is to wait in the device pickup line to place an order, but that line moved extremely slowly. After waiting, we decided to leave without making a purchase.
Very unprofessional Genius Bar team. I received a message saying that my repaired item was ready for pickup and that they were “looking forward to seeing you and your photo ID.” However, nowhere did it clearly state that a physical photo ID was strictly required.
When I originally dropped off the item, no one told me that I would need to bring a physical ID to pick it up. When I arrived, a male employee and a female employee simply refused to help me, without offering any reasonable solution.
This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. The communication was unclear, and the way the staff handled the situation was dismissive and unprofessional.

I would like to share my disappointing experience with Apple.
A few months ago, I purchased an iPhone 17 along with Apple’s official silicone case and screen protector. After only a few weeks of normal use, the silicone on the bottom of the case started peeling off and separating from the case. There was no accidental damage—the material simply failed.
I went to an Apple Store hoping to have the case replaced under warranty. The first thing I was told was that the case is “not for protection, but for aesthetics.” I honestly don’t understand that explanation. If an expensive Apple case starts falling apart after just a few weeks, what kind of aesthetics is that?
Eventually, the store agreed to process my warranty claim. However, I had to wait in the store for about an hour. At the end, I was told that a replacement case would be ordered and that I would need to make another trip to the store to pick it up. I left my phone number, and they assured me they would contact me when it arrived.
About two weeks later, I received a notification that my replacement case was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, I was away on a business trip and couldn’t return to the store until about a week later. When I finally arrived, I was told that my replacement case had already been removed because they don’t keep replacement items for that long. The only solution they offered was to start the entire warranty process again, which meant spending another hour at the store and waiting for another replacement to arrive.
At that point, I thanked them and left because I simply didn’t want to waste any more of my time.
This experience has convinced me that I will never buy Apple accessories again. The warranty replacement process is frustrating, time-consuming, and far below the level of service I expected from a premium brand.
What disappoints me the most is the quality of Apple’s official silicone case. Before this, I had used $2–3 cases from AliExpress, and honestly, they lasted longer and held up better than Apple’s $50 case. I genuinely don’t understand what I paid $50 for. I expected premium quality from a premium brand, but instead I received a product that failed within weeks and a warranty process that wasted hours of my time.
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at the Apple Store in Valley Fair today needs to be addressed.
Two days ago, I purchased an orange MagSafe wallet from this store and immediately started using it. Very quickly, I noticed that the fabric material becomes dirty simply from normal handling. Within two days, the wallet had developed a couple of stains, despite being brand new.
I returned to the store seeking a reasonable solution—either an exchange for a darker color or a return. After speaking with two sales associates, I was referred to the store manager, Jeremy D., who declined my request based on store policy.
What disturbed me was not the refusal itself, but the way I was treated.
When I showed Jeremy my receipt from two days earlier and the stained wallet, he stated, “What I see is not from two days ago.”
I was shocked by that statement and asked whether I understood him correctly: was he suggesting that the wallet I was showing him was not the same wallet I had purchased two days earlier? Instead of answering directly, he pointed to his own phone case and said that he had been using it for a year and it had no stains. When I asked again what exactly he was implying, he repeated that what he was seeing could not be from two days of use.
The clear implication of his statements was that I was attempting to deceive the store by presenting a different or older wallet than the one I had purchased two days earlier. When I gave him multiple opportunities to clarify his position, he avoided answering directly while continuing to insist that the wallet could not be only two days old.
Being denied a return is one thing. Being implicitly accused of fraud by a store manager is entirely another.
I left the store shocked and deeply disappointed. Apple has built its reputation on customer experience, professionalism, and trust. Interactions like this undermine that reputation. Greater attention should be paid to whom Apple places in management positions and how those managers are trained to handle customer concerns.
I will be escalating this matter through Apple Customer Support. Customers should never leave an Apple Store feeling that their honesty has been questioned simply because they brought back a product that did not perform as expected.

I want to thank everyone who works at this store for helping me with my situation. I bought an iPhone in Las Vegas, and it turned out to have a software defect. Thanks to the staff at this store, I received all the help and support I needed.
Everyone was patient, professional, and very helpful. Since I am a tourist, I needed to resolve the issue before returning home, and they went above and beyond to assist me.
Thank you very much. This is an excellent store with outstanding representatives of the brand, even though the brand itself still has significant issues.
Grande abraço, obrigada!
