  For a place thats located literally at the heart of the homeless capital of the planet, they are alarmingly occlusive against genuine customers that can be assumed to fall into the category, first time coming in, on pride day, seeking help to restore my iphone 17, instead of being greeted and offered assistance, after a long hot walk through a parade of pride marchers, had a bit of sweat coming from my forehead as i attempted to connect tp an availabe compurter and was immediately asked to leave because a bead of sweat "dripped on our floor", security implied it was only a temporary ban for the day so i came back the next day, not sweating, but was immediately asked to leave in the name of "hygeine issues" mind you my clothes are clean and i do not smell bad at all, i lasted only 5 seconds in the door due to management recognizing me from yesterday and instructed security to escort me out on essentially lies as its obvious discrimination against a demographic, unironically at this location

  Terrible experience! If you’re Asian, don’t even bother coming to this store. I notice they’ll help if you “look” like their standard costumer. Came in with my young son to purchase an iPhone and there were so many Apple employees available and just standing around for 25 minutes. I waited for so long, got bored and started taking photos of the store instead while trying to wait. No one comes up to approach if you need help. They either give you a death stare and have their hands across their body, so you have to chase around folks and ask for your help yourself. Even after, you still have to wait another 30 minutes just to get assistance. The Apple employee woman I asked for help was arrogant and unapproachable. After 25 mins there were less people and I ended up asking help from the kind security guard in the photo. My son and I were starving at this point so we just left! Horrible experience and do not recommend this place. I ended up purchasing my iPhone online instead. Sadly this is the place I have to pick it up from but I do not plan on returning after this.

  I’m here at the Genius Bar for last 2.5 hours. I have been seen by 5 different employees. I have been given by all of them the exact same answer after making me repeat the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. The incompetence is astounding. I have heard of weaponized incompetence when systems are designed to make feel trapped and tired but I don’t see any reason why apple would be deployed those tactics. So I guess this is just natural incompetence.

  If you can, stay away from this store! The people here don’t know what they’re talking about and service takes about 2 hours even with an appointment! The person here made me buy a credit card saying I’ll get discount on AirPods but then there was some problem with it. Then they said because of the trouble caused, they will give me a discount but the case had to arrive from chestnut store. And after 10 days, no communication, no email, no text - it still hasn’t arrived!! 10 days to ship from chestnut to union square? And the person at Genius Bar Michael was like ‘oh I don’t know what happened to the shipment’ and got annoyed at me when I was legitimately trying to find out what happened to it. Then he came back and said it got shipped and it might be here today or tomorrow. Then h asked him if I can call and check and he gave me a generic phone number which I have to go through to reach them. And the worst part?! That generic number said they have no way of reaching the store. This Apple Store and the service here is SO BROKEN. Absolutely ZERO care and cinema for the customer. Whatever nice things they say is all a sham. The store manager here talks nicely but has little to no skills getting things done. Lost so much respect for Apple. STAY AWAY!

  I smoked out my pants and shirt, only to find that paired with the changes of food they have me on, my dreams were too much. I don't know who's who, but I got into the wrong hands last night. So, I assumed my hanes pants were not to be worn smoked. In washing them, my face became enthralled with who knows what, no crawling, so I threw them out. Ordering a plain black pair soon. If the parents on this side won't get them again, I'll need to buy a gift card and coffee card at the same time tomorrow... Good luck, I hate currency.
