Our visit to the VCA eye clinic for animals was great, Dr. Strubbe took very good care of my little girl Ginger. She went in about to have an eye removed due to a lesion from the herpes virus and two weeks later her eye was almost healed with the treatment Dr. Strubbe gave her!

Really dissapointed in the care we received here. My girlfriend brought our dog in for skin irritation around the eye back in January, and each recommendation given by Dr. Strubbe resulted in a new problem. Six months under his care, over a thousand dollars later, our dog was recommended multiple invasive procedures for all the issues. We took her to another opthalmologist instead, stopped all of Dr. Strubbe’s prescriptions, and all her symptoms resolved. We felt skeptical, hesitant, and unheard during our dog’s treatment and wished we had listened to our intuition sooner.

Do not leave your animal with them. They hurt our kitties healing eye while changing cone at the back. Kitty probably scratched it while they took the cone. Very big incompetence if you don’t even pay attention.

The doctors and staff are very caring. My dog was diagnosed with an eye condition several months ago and the doctor diagnosed her condition right away and the treatment has been extremely successful so far. I also have a good friend whose dog was diagnosed with cancer in her eye and unfortunately she had to have her eye removed. However, she's had a great experience with this office as well.
