This place is wonderful. We took our cat here late at night, they gave a full exam and diagnosis, then the vet spent about 30 minutes talking to us to understand what the possible issues were and which tests would make sense now vs later. He gave an honest recommendation on which tests could wait to be done by our regular vet at a lower cost than them. The cost was extremely fair. Kitty is doing fine.

I brought my pet in w a bite. There was no one in the waiting room when we arrived. They said they needed to give her a shot in case she was in pain. My pet had no visible distress. I allowed it for examination. 4 people came in after me as I sat there for two hours. One person came in with a cat that had trouble urinating and they told this person the same thing. They needed to give it a pain injection. Mind you the injection was 169.00. The other three individuals were there to pick up their pets. My pet was sick for 2 days from the injection. She was acting happy before it. They wanted to close the wound but my pet has a history that isn't safe for the type of closure they suggested. It was a puncture the size of a pea. They gave us written instructions and medication. I read the instructions carefully. It had our information but sometimes placed the wrong sex or the wrong name but also contained my pet's name and our information as it was sent to our email. A few days went by and the wound started swelling. I took my pet to their local vet who had to lacerate the wound. The rx should have been double based on my pet's weight. My vet also said vets should never ever close a bite or wound such as the one we came in with because it will hold infection. It needs to heal from the inside out. It is apparent this vca location is negligent and it costed my pet more anguish. Giving wrong dosages and recommending treatment that only harms your pet at a very high cost is just absurd and cruel. My pet was taken back for hours with one puncture and under stress away from us only to be under additional harm from their office not paying attention. The bs reply of oh contact us directly is only to make it appear they care when trust me...they don't!

Vet tech Darian was very rude to my wife when we went in to have our senior cat euthanized, and caused our cat more pain and suffering, we ended up having to ask for them to take the IV catheter out and took our cat to a different vet office to have the euthanasia done. All in all a rather traumatizing experience for both my wife and our poor cat.

I took my senior cat to this VCA ER for help with end of life care due to her being very sick and in pain. All i asked was to spend time with my cat until they were ready to put her IV in and instead they kept her in the back for over 30 minutes. When they finally brought me my cat after i got upset she had such a long IV in that i couldnt spend any quality time with her because she was getting tangled in it. The vet tech who was assigned to my cat, her name is Darian, came in with an attitude and started arguing with me on my cat and asking for her to not be kept in the back for a half hour. After she had an attitude i asked her to leave me alone to spend time with my cat and she rolled her eyes at me and then raised her voice at me when i told her she had no right to do that. We ended up having to take the cat home and go to a different ER the next day when she started bleeding from her butt and they could not get a vein because of this VCA taking her only good vein. This meant my senior cat had to get stuck twice then basically have 2 tranquilizer shots that took a half hour to work instead of the fast acting IV fluid. This VCA ended up causing my senior cat to be scared and in pain instead of being able to relax and be comfortable for her last time on earth with her family. Darian should not be allowed to ever work with animals ever again. Oh and the vet we talked to admitted this wasnt the first time she was rude to the animals owners and family members!
