Cool store. However when I went to make a purchase the young guy tried to sign me up for their credit card without my knowledge or permission. Weird vibes at this store as if they were high as well, but I’m not from San Diego so maybe that’s normal for people here. Just order online if you have to come here for something big.

How difficult can it be to reach an associate at the store? After calling so many times I had to go in to talk to an associate. I also called for an order for the Geek Squad to come in to work on my computer. I schedule it almost 3 weeks in advance because they said it was their only availability. After scheduling it in advanced, paying $150 for the service, taking a whole day off work (money lost) so I can be there at their open appointment from 7AM-7PM. They call me the day before and tell me they dont have anyone. They had 3 WEEKS to figure that out. They didnt give me a credit, barely apologized and just moved on. So now I have to take another day off work because they cant give me a specific arrival time frame til the DAY before the appointment. Theres another WHOLE DAYs worth of work lost. More money lost. These big corporations are getting worse. I see why they are failing. Customer service is just not the same anymore. I DO NOT recommending contacting this company thats impossible to reach a store associate and is not organized in their geek squad department. They dont have sympathy for their clients and I will never shop here again.

I had a great experience at Best Buy thanks to Richard, who works as a Meta Specialist. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Richard took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt confident in my decision.
What stood out most was his professionalism and positive attitude—he never made me feel rushed and really seemed to care about finding the right fit for my needs. It’s rare to come across customer service like that these days.
If you’re visiting this location and need help with anything Meta related, I highly recommend asking for Richard. He made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

The representative at checkout, Sue, is really rude and doesn’t ask for help if she doesn’t know something. I buy all of my screen protectors at Bestbuy and regularly go for my warranty replacements when they break. The first time I went she insisted that she couldn’t process my warranty replacement there and sent me to customer service instead. I told her that I normally do it there but she said she can’t and that I would have to return my old screen protector too. After waiting longer at customer service they informed me that I did NOT need to wait there in line nor return my
previous one. I went back today and had the misfortune of being assisted by Sue AGAIN, she was extremely combative and told
me that since she’s been there 11 years she knows what she’s talking about. I’m considering getting my tech products elsewhere because she makes my experience horrible every single time. Management needs to coach her better to make sure she’s not treating customers the same way.

Everyone in Best Buy who works in the store, from front-end support to the supervisor are all amazing. The issue is calling into the store. The store now has an AI system that is so convoluted, it's impossible to get through. It's a horrible! Best Buy has really done a disservice to its customers by replacing customer care in store personal with an AI system that cannot be pushed past. It's a very onerous phone tree. Best Buy needs to stop and return to in-store customer service. With people who can assist customers. I was on the phone for 30 minutes. I made 3 separate calls in, trying to get through AI menu. Finally, when I did get past the AI automation, I reached an offshore person who told me the product I wanted: a phone screen protector screen was out of stock, that there were none in the entire store. This person didn't even ask me what kind of phone I had. When I said, how do you know this? The person said, "Well, there are none in store stock, delivery is tomorrow." When I called back again and asked for Geek Squad, as I have a Geek Squad protection contract, the person said that assistance was not available and recommended, I wait until the following day to make an appointment. I just drove to the store and everyone was very kind and very helpful. When I arrived, I could see there was a nominal wait on the Geek Squad line and none at the phone sales service area. An associate very quickly assisted me including applying my newly purchased protective screen to my phone. I was out of the store within fifteen minutes. The combination of AI and offshore customer assistance, lacking knowledge of products on hand is a very bad reflection on Best Buys customer service.
