I visited the Apple Store twice regarding the issue of my purchase, and on both occasions, I was directed to contact Apple Customer Support instead of receiving any meaningful assistance at the store. My understanding from the interaction was that Apple’s online operations and physical retail stores are separately owned entities, and therefore, once you initiate something through Apple’s website, the store cannot help you with it. Essentially, the answer to everything was: “Contact Apple Support.” I waited for approximately more than an hour in the store. Several representatives approached me, but the moment they heard that my visit concerned a refurbished product pickup, the attitude seemed to change. It genuinely felt as though I was asking for charity rather than collecting a product I had paid $1,632 for. What shocked me most was the complete lack of coordination at the pickup counter. One representative repeatedly directed me back to the pickup point, where there was only one employee, who appeared occupied with applying screen protectors and was not attending to any customers. When another employee finally approached, I explained the situation. His response was that nobody was helping me because I was not standing at the pickup point. When I explained that there was nobody available there to assist me, he simply repeated the same response, almost mechanically, without making any effort to understand or resolve the issue. I have often heard that Apple's carefully designed ecosystem is ultimately about maximizing revenue, and this experience left me questioning how much importance the company actually places on customer service once a purchase has been completed. The employees I encountered seemed more interested in following a script and redirecting customers than taking ownership of a problem. Honestly, an AI system might have handled this interaction with more consistency and empathy. Apple promotes a premium experience and charges premium prices, but that premium experience should extend to customer service, regardless of whether someone purchases a brand-new product or a refurbished one. If Apple is unwilling to provide the same level of customer service for refurbished purchases, then it should reconsider selling refurbished products altogether. After two visits, an hour of waiting, and no resolution, I left thoroughly disappointed. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not passed between departments while nobody takes responsibility.

Very disappointing experience with a brand-new iPhone purchased directly from Apple Fashion Valley.
I purchased an iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB here in June 2026 and brought it back to Vietnam. The phone subsequently developed a serious power-related hardware failure. I had to spend significant time and money dealing with the issue, despite having purchased a brand-new device directly from Apple.
I took the phone to an Apple Authorized Service Provider in Vietnam, but was told that the device could not be serviced locally under the available warranty process and that I would need to return it to the US to have the warranty handled.
Since returning to the US was not a practical option, I was forced to find another repair solution at my own expense. The power-related issue has now returned only about two weeks after the repair.
This has caused not only financial losses, but also major disruption to my daily life — communication, banking, payments, work, and access to essential services. More importantly, I now have to live with the constant anxiety that a brand-new phone may suddenly fail again at any time.
I purchased directly from Apple expecting reliability and proper support. Instead, I have spent weeks dealing with a serious recurring hardware problem. I hope Apple will take responsibility for this case and provide a proper resolution rather than leaving customers to deal with the consequences themselves

This location made me wait 3 hours just to take my iPhone 14 Pro in for a battery replacement that was supposed to cost $100, only to tell me 3 hours later that I also needed a $280 screen replacement. I ended up wasting essentially an entire day at this location.
I decided to try a local repair shop instead and checked their worst reviews beforehand to get an idea of how they operated. Logic Fix took my phone in, found that screws had been left out of my phone from a previous repair, and replaced the battery for $100 in less than 20 minutes. He also replaced my camera for $100, and the phone now looks and works like it did when it was brand new.
This experience really changed my opinion of Apple’s repair process. I understand that Apple has specific repair procedures and that some repairs can legitimately require additional parts, but being told I needed another $280 repair after already waiting 3 hours, when an independent repair shop was able to handle the battery replacement in under 20 minutes, left me feeling like Apple’s process was unnecessarily expensive and time consuming.
I’ve owned iPhones for years and usually upgrade every few years, but the improvements from one generation to the next often feel incremental to me, with the camera being one of the biggest noticeable differences. After this experience, I’m definitely going to think twice about going straight to Apple for repairs or automatically upgrading to another iPhone.
The biggest issue for me wasn’t even the money. It was losing an entire day of my time and feeling like there was no consideration for that.

Horrible experience. I waited for 45 minutes to try to buy a new watch. I tried asking for help multiple times but I was just told to stand there and wait by the watches for someone helped me. I tried asking if there was a queue I could be put into but they said no. I was completely ignored. Then some other guy just walks in right from the door and right away he’s asked if he needed help. They start the process and help him to buy a watch right away. I still wasn’t getting help and was still ignored. I walked out as I already wasted a lot of my time. I’ll be buying from a different Apple Store from now on.

Apple Lies?! Surely not!
You book an appointment to pick up your phone at a specific time. You arrive having booked a time slot. Store employees raise a metaphorical middle digit and tell you to go away and join the back of an hour plus line anyway, and go [not allowed to type that word] yourself if you think your booked appointment time means anything.
And if you have mobility issues or trouble standing for well over an hour? Well clearly you’re not Apple material. Their first response was that you just have to wait in line. Their second was you have to find someone to wait for you. Neither of these are reasonable accommodations under the ADA. And that turns out to be the secret. Only after asking how to file an ADA complaint, which should not be a required step for ADA considerations, do they decide you can leave and find a seat elsewhere, simply coming back not at the time of the appointment Apple made but at that time plus the queue duration. Meanwhile, I saw a frail old lady, leaning hard on her walker, trying to endure a long standing wait because she didn’t know to force ADA on them.
Conclusion: Don’t buy phones on launch day if you expect this store to honor the appointment time Apple assigns you. And, if you’re unable to stand for long durations, you’re unwelcome unless you truly force the issue - which is absolutely contrary to the intent of the ADA. I’ll be having future phones delivered to my home, avoiding this store like the plague.
