  We had a wonderful experience with VCA San Carlos Animal Hospital. We brought our beloved dog, Charlie, there from the time we adopted him from a shelter in 2014 until we recently lost him at the age of 12 1/2. While we are still grieving, we are deeply grateful for the exceptional care and compassion he received throughout his life. We would especially like to thank Dr. Eric Christensen. He always put Charlie's well-being and comfort first, and his care, judgment, and compassion gave us great confidence, especially during Charlie's most difficult days. Anyone fortunate enough to have Dr. Christensen as their veterinarian can be assured their pet is in the very best hands. Charlie filled our lives with unconditional love, and we will always be grateful to Dr. Christensen and the entire team at VCA San Carlos Animal Hospital for the kindness and outstanding care they showed him over the years.

  This VCA location honestly has one of the nicest environments I’ve seen for a vet clinic. The interior is very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and unlike many pet hospitals, it actually smells fresh inside instead of having that strong clinic smell. The staff and doctors were all friendly and patient. I also really appreciate Dr. Pepper, who followed up with me afterward through messages and carefully explained everything about my cat’s condition and treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Eric as well — he was very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. Overall, this clinic felt calm, welcoming, and very well designed compared to many other vet clinics I’ve visited.

  I have had nothing but the best vet care from VCA San Carlos, in particular Dr McDairmid and Dr Stauber are excellent. All of the staff though, admin, Vet Assistants and admins are friendly and helpful and their new facility is lovely with lots of parking!

  We have a new puppy and are new to the pet world. I first went to another Vet and really did not like them. Tried this clinic for our second visit well check and loved it. So professional, thorough, clean paperwork, detailed communication, nice environment and friendly staff.
