    I visited the Pasadena Apple Store with my mother and toddler to purchase a Mother’s Day gift. During the transaction, my mother and child were looking at the watches and bands on the display table while we waited. As we were finishing up, the associate helping us abruptly said, “I’m gonna need that back,” in a commanding tone directed at my mother and child. Not sure what he was suggesting, that my 1-year-old was gonna steal it? That interaction felt totally unnecessary and uncomfortable. I understand employees need to monitor merchandise, but the way the situation was handled felt dismissive and unwelcoming. We left because I didn't want to cause a scene on Mother's Day, but it completely took the joy from what was supposed to be a happy Mother’s Day shopping experience for my family.

    I placed an online order for the iPhone 17 pro max. Previously, I ordered my phone through tmobile. The phone was stolen from UPS and tmobile was no help. I decided to go straight through Apple for a new phone and the process was so smooth! Bought it online, got a QR code and went at the scheduled time I picked. Upon arrival I was greeted and sent to the correct area of the store. The QR code was scanned, my ID was looked at, and my phone was brought to me in a matter of minutes! Currently using my new phone as we speak! Thank you so much to the kind workers at Apple Pasadena! Will definitely be coming here soon

    This Apple Store displays clear discriminatory behavior toward Asian customers. On the afternoon of May 8th, I went to pick up my phone after a screen replacement; the Latino male employee responsible for assisting customers with pickups repeatedly ignored me. Eventually, another female employee stepped in to retrieve my phone for me—I am deeply grateful for her warm and helpful assistance!🤝🏻

    DO NOT come here to have your phone repaired!! I sent my phone here to replace my screen, two days later I found out that there is water in my camera, maybe by wiping my phone with the wet towl? But I’ve been doing this for so many years, water never got into my phone like this. Then I went back to this Apple Store to see if they could fix it for me. However, the manager of this store kept asking me ‘did you drop your phone into the water?’ Are they accusing me that I'm lying to them? Their technician did not install the screen properly, even I can see the gap between the glass and phone. Now I have to pay an extra $99 to replace my phone. They are so disrespectful and irresponsible!

    I usually prefer to highlight great service, but my experience at the Pasadena Apple Store on Friday, April 24, 2026, was so shockingly hostile it warrants a public warning. As a long-time consumer products executive, I know that employees are the brand. Apparently, Apple’s "Geniuses" missed the memo on basic human decency. My son (who was looking to get his MacBook fixed) and I were approached by a staff member/Genius named Zaira. Before we could even explain the issue, she was hurried and visibly hassled. When we mentioned we had trouble booking online, her "Genius" solution was a condescending lecture on why we should have used the app instead. The breaking point? When I asked what time a three-hour wait would put us at, she snapped, "You can do the math."Her demeanor was so aggressive and dismissive that my son actually left the store because he felt so uncomfortable. While the store manager was professional and apologetic afterward, the fact remains: for the premium Apple charges, you expect expertise, not a "Genius" who is too "busy" to be civil. If you’re looking for help at this location, I’d suggest finding someone who actually understands the 'Service' part of Customer Service—because Zaira clearly doesn't. This has definitely scarred my son’s reputation of this brand.
