I have been going here off and on since it opened decades ago. When they first opened it was beautiful but for the last maybe for the last ten years it’s been nothing but issues. So many to mention. Idk why I keep going here. The last and final straw for me was today. I brought in my dog to get its second shot. The appointment before this one I asked what I would have to pay. I was told I did not have to pay for the second series of shots. So I included the nail trim. That’s all I thought I had to pay. Why wouldn’t they have charged me for the first and second shot the first time and why didn’t they tell me I had to pay for the second shot this time idk. Maybe they should not have a tech answer billing questions. They kept going back and forth with me telling me they told me but they did not. The understanding that I kept repeating was I only had to pay for nail trim. Then when I go in it’s another story. I had the money but it’s the point of a company and their workers playing with patients. I did not appreciate that at all. When I go to a vet or call I always ask for an approx price. Always. I won’t be going here again ever. I didn’t appreciate them arguing with me about not being told. They didn’t tell me. Waste of time.

This is my first time coming to VCA. The environment was nice, they separate the dogs, cats, and exotics section in the waiting room. The exam room was perfect for my rabbit. I like that they do the exam on the ground as oppose to high up. My rabbit wasn't anxious at all, however, he does not like being handled. Dr. Chung and the vet tech, Dylan, was pretty gentle with him despite his feisty resistance. I did use the first time free exam certificate from the adoption center, but forgot the paper. However they were understanding, and I was able to email it to them post-appointment. Overall, I'm glad my rabbit is healthy and the exam went smoothly! In terms of price point, I am quite shocked by the price of the exam and treatments especially the vaccines! Oh my goodness! My go-to vet clinic has low cost vaccines for 2 doses, while VCA charges $88 PER DOSE. Suffice to say, I will stick to my usual vet clinic. Thank you, VCA!

We love VCA! We recently had to take our extremely shy and nervous cat in to get her teeth extracted due to a genetic dental disease. The vet (Dr Anne Swartzwelder) was so incredibly helpful- she called me almost every step of the way to talk through the surgery and ask questions regarding treatment - she gave amazing advice on how to deal with her pre-visit anxiety (and how to get her in her crate), and the staff at VCA even washed her blanket that she soiled on due to her vet anxiety! All around, we always feel so well taken care of when we take our pets to VCA - we highly recommend!
