We had to rush our dog Cooper, our beloved Yorkshire Terrier, to the VCA in Murrieta, California at 3:00 AM on Thursday, April 9th. From the moment we arrived, the team acted quickly, compassionately, and professionally. They kept us informed every step of the way, which brought us so much comfort during a very stressful time. Cooper was diagnosed with HGE and pancreatitis, and the staff immediately got to work caring for him.
After a 24-hour stay, we were able to bring him home at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 10th. Later that evening, we noticed a concerning spot on his abdomen. We emailed photos to the doctor, and without hesitation, they asked us to come back in. When we arrived, we were welcomed right away, and the staff quickly took Cooper back for evaluation. Within 30 minutes, the doctor met with us and reassured us that the spot was simply from urine excretion and nothing serious.
We were able to take him home with peace of mind and follow up with our regular vet the next morning. Every single member of the VCA team was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They worked efficiently while never making us feel rushed, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure both Cooper and our family were okay.
We’ve been to this VCA location multiple times over the years with our dogs, and every experience has been exceptional. Their dedication, compassion, and professionalism are unmatched.
Thank you, VCA Murrieta, for taking such incredible care of Cooper. He’s not just a pet to us, he’s family, and we are so grateful for everything you did for him!!
