  Tell me why 3 other vets I've spoken with this week have openly told me the cost of pre-anesthesia blood work when I asked, but this office wouldn't. Saying you "don't know the price" is also dishonest when, once asked again, you stumble through the explanation that you do know it, you just won't disclose it over the phone. Private equity is destroying vet care in this country and making it harder every day for people to find affordable, transparent, and appropriate care for their animals. Don't support VCA if you can avoid it. There's a long list of reasons why I found another vet over a decade ago, and today I learned that it was the right choice.

  Do not take your animals here. They performed a check-up on my cat and missed a large tumor in his abdomen, which ultimately led to his passing. On top of being lazy in general, they ignored our requests to have results for his tests back, replying once per week by email if we were lucky. Take your pets somewhere that they will be treated as they deserve to be.
