If I could give 0 stars I would! Went to this store yesterday 9/19/26 for a phone my Father needed, we asked Manuel for a simple phone because my Dad is elderly and doesn’t need anything fancy, just a phone to make and receive calls, he offered us a phone that would come out to $300 he said that was the cheapest, as we were walking out he magically found a phone that was $189, However he insisted that we needed insurance for 3 months, which is a lie. Insurance is optional not mandatory! He then switched his story and said we needed it for 1 month, I asked him to not make any changes to the plan and he said he wouldn’t, today all the phone lines connected to the account are DISCONNECTED because of now it shows there is an unpaid balance all because of these added services Manuel put on the account without us asking! Now we have to pay an additional fee to RESTORE SERVICES! Shame on you to try and make a dollar out of ppl who come to you all for your commission! You screw others up! I WOULD NEVER GO BACK HERE IF YOU DON’T! Only come if you want to be scammed!!!

I checked the hours before I went but when I got there, the store was closed with a little clock in the window that said, we'll be back. I had to wait half an hour. I read online that I was eligible to upgrade my phone for around $79.99. So that's what I expected when I went in. I dealt with the owner and when he added things I never asked for it was over $200! I think he charged me around $140 for just the phone, almost double the price. He said that's for the set-up. I told him my understanding was you could just do that yourself online. And he said, yes, but it's very difficult to do, and most people can't do it or they mess it up. The other doozy was for three months of insurance. I never asked him for insurance. He said, you have to get insurance. When you buy a car, you get insurance. So when you buy a phone, you have to get insurance. I said, when you buy a car, it's the law, but it's not required for my phone. And he said, after three months you can just cancel it. I said, but I don't want it at all. I didn't ask you for insurance. He argued with me quite a bit and insisted that I had to have insurance for at least three months, paid upfront. He had already charged me for 3 months of insurance and said he couldn't refund it, and then he decided he could when he saw it was a deal-breaker. He didn't ask me if I wanted a screen protector, but just included it into the pricing, at $59! I later bought a nice, sturdy case (with a screen protector included) on Amazon for $11, put it on myself. Seems to be fine. As I've gotten older, I no longer get excited or let my anger show. So the whole time I spoke with him in a conversational, courteous tone, I never raised my voice or got excited. But several times, he became very strident to say the least, raised his voice, and expressed great frustration with me because I didn't want these extra wildly inflated upgrades. He tried to make me feel like I was being unreasonable. I wasn't. So I got out of there finally, paying almost double for my phone just to be done with it. Not a pleasant experience. Next time, I'll just do it online.
