We have had to come here 3 times, and each time we are treated so well by all the staff! The last two times, were for extremely hard moments. 6 months ago we had to put our older dog down, and this recent time we were scared we would have to put our cat down. The people here have such kindness, and made the times so much better considering what was going on. This past weekend bringing my cat in, Jill was the vet doctor helping us. And while getting news your furbaby has cancer and not a lot longer, she was so kind, and so good at explaining what was going on. I wish I had more words to express how much of a difference it made for us. My husband and I both were so grateful for how she helped us! Also someone at the front named Corrine (not sure how to properly spell so sorry!) was beyond sweet with helping us! 🙏🏻🥰 I don’t remember names from the other times, but had to give a shoutout to this place because having kind humans through hard times makes such a difference. I know the jobs these people do must be so stressful at times too, so it was just super appreciated 🙏🏻 Thank you all!!

I am new to CA from AZ. I have been seeing my AZ vet for 30yrs. Moving here to CA has been a challenge not only for my pets but for myself. Navigating the healthcare system human/vets is challenging here. My experience w/Loomis both times was nothing short of disappointment. Sat 3 hours with my 14yo dog w/nystagmus and not had any triage so I left. Second time for my dog who may or may not have bone cancer. $6000 for a CT scan. Really???? Price gouging at its best. Praying on the emotions of the pet parent. Lucky for me, I know a lot about X-rays, CT, MRI etc...enough to know that's too high of a cost. Shame on you Loomis....

Me and my husband went to VCA Loomis to have more testing to confirm a cancer diagnosis for my dog. We were scared, and couldn't think straight. We first spoke on the phone to Bre, the doctor's tech, who put us at ease. She was SO kind. When we came in, we again met with her, again, she was so kind and helpful. Testing was done, then Dr. Kao came and explained EVERYTHING to us. Wrote on wipe board the different scenarios. She was also very kind and and understood our concerns. She called back in a few days with the results of the tests. I would highly recommend VCA Loomis.

I called the emergency department while my dog was in crisis and they talked me through immediate steps and let the team know we were on our way. When we arrived he was whisked right in and we were all treated with so much care. We were given options and expert advice, but I never once felt like I was being upsold or pressured. I’m so thankful for our experience with them! They have my trust and gratitude.

I had an excellent experience with VCA Animal Hospitals. I brought my dog in for a foreign object ingestion, and the entire team was incredibly caring, attentive, and supportive throughout the process. The doctors were very patient, knowledgeable, and made sure to call me with updates twice a day, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog was hospitalized for 12 days, and I always felt like he was in the best hands. I would absolutely highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to put their pet’s care first.
