Dr. Foote, the techs, the front desk... everyone here has been so compassionate and treated us like family.
My wife, Cooper, and I have traveled all over the country because of my wife's work. We have been to countless vet offices, and they've all been pretty good. There is something special about this VCA team though. After we moved here, Cooper was struggling, and they did everything possible to keep him comfortable and happy.
It was less than a year before Cooper's time was up, and afterwards the team wrote us a hand written card. It means a great deal when you're hurting so much, to hold evidence that your dog touched others too, even briefly.
I'm crying writing this, but it's worth it to share how wonderful these people are. Saying goodbye to Cooper was the hardest thing I've ever done. Working from home, I spent more time with him than anyone, including my wife.
The thing I'm most grateful for is that we don't have any regrets, and that all comes down to the team at this VCA office. They will care for your pet with love and empathy, before and after they've passed on. When making such a difficult decision, peace of mind is the greatest gift you can receive. Thank you Dr. Foote and everyone at this office.
