    it was nice to find an Apple Store, plenty of associates, but it is a very busy place. We were turning in some old Apple products which they took to recycle.

    My experience at the Apple Store at The Americana at Brand in Glendale was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I visited the store to ask whether a government employee discount could be applied to my purchase. I fully understand that certain products or accessories may not qualify, and I was prepared to accept a clear explanation if the discount was not applicable. The problem was not simply that the discount was unavailable—it was the dismissive and argumentative manner in which my questions were handled. While I was speaking with a female manager, another female employee repeatedly interrupted and inserted herself into the conversation. Instead of allowing the manager to address my questions directly, the two employees appeared to team up, focusing more on shutting down the discussion than on explaining the policy or trying to provide helpful alternatives. I politely asked to speak with one person at a time and requested that the other employee stop interrupting so I could continue my conversation with the manager. Rather than respecting that reasonable request, they became defensive and accused me of being rude. This felt like an attempt to portray themselves as victims instead of taking responsibility for their own discourteous behavior. I remained polite and respectful throughout the interaction. Customers should be able to ask legitimate questions without being talked over, surrounded by multiple employees, or treated as though they are creating a problem simply because they are requesting clarification. The manager should have taken control of the conversation and ensured that I was treated professionally. Instead, the interaction became unnecessarily confrontational and uncomfortable. In contrast, two male employees who later helped install my screen protector and addressed the warranty on my case were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Their service demonstrated the level of customer care I would normally expect from Apple. Unfortunately, the conduct of the manager and the employee who repeatedly interrupted overshadowed the positive assistance I received afterward. Apple should provide additional customer-service and management training at this location, particularly regarding respectful communication, de-escalation, and allowing customers to speak without being interrupted or unfairly characterized as rude.

    My phone stopped charging yesterday and was dead. I had previous issues with my lightning port so I figured it might’ve been done for. When I got there I told David my issue and he was able to direct me to a wireless charger I could try out to diagnose if the issue was fully with the port or the phone itself. After successfully charging my phone I approached David and Marcus and asked about who to speak with about potentially diagnosing the lightning port issues. Marcus said he could check it out right then and with a few tools was able to clean out the lightning port enough to restore its functionality. Super clutch help on both of their parts, it was greatly appreciated.

    I went to this Apple Store yesterday right after my iPhone got stolen out of my pocket the night before. Davit at Apple had very excellent customer service!! His customer service, patience, and care for his customers was of the highest caliber and he made a difficult situation better. I mega appreciate Davit answering all of my questions in such a helpful and professionally friendly manner! And I love my brand new iPhone! Thank you Davit for helping to make a very stressful situation so much better!!

    I’ve had my iPhone 16 Pro for almost 2 years now, and honestly it’s been one of the most frustrating phones I’ve owned. The camera constantly overheats, randomly shuts off even with plenty of storage available, and the phone struggles with something as simple as warm California weather. Half the time I have to restart it just to get the camera working again. And of course, once you’re out of AppleCare, suddenly there’s “nothing they can do.” At this point I’m seriously considering switching to Samsung or Google because the overall experience just doesn’t feel reliable anymore. It feels like Apple keeps adding more features, more processing, more megapixels, and more gimmicks, but the actual quality and simplicity that made iPhones great in the first place keeps getting lost. It’s like an ice cream sundae with too many toppings. Eventually you stop tasting the ice cream, which was the whole point. I genuinely miss the older iPhone era when the phones just worked. Once this one finally gives out, I don’t see myself coming back to iPhone again.
