Me and my family came into the Apple Store today and patiently waited about 10 minutes without being greeted or helped by anyone. Two young ladies walked in after us and were immediately assisted. I politely told an employee that me and my family had been waiting, and his response was, “Everyone has to wait.” Clearly, that wasn’t the case if people who just walked in were helped right away. After waiting longer, a young man finally helped me and explained what he was going to do with my phone. While he stepped away, a female employee made a comment to another customer saying that “people need to learn patience,” obviously referring to me. That was extremely unprofessional. I responded by saying employees shouldn’t make comments about customers if they don’t expect a response back. She then ran to the back and falsely claimed that I threatened her. The manager came out, continuously interrupted me while I tried to explain the situation, and refused to give me information on how to properly report my experience. I even told her I was willing to leave peacefully if she provided the correct contact information, but instead she escalated the situation further. Security was then called, and I asked them what exactly I had done wrong. None of them could provide facts — only accusations based on what they were told. At that point, I started recording for the safety of myself and my family because of the false claims being made against me. Even after me and my family left the Apple Store, security continued following us throughout the mall. They surrounded multiple exits and continued watching and following us all the way toward our car, despite there being no fight, no theft, and no threats made at all. Mind you, this involved a woman and five children being treated like a danger to an entire mall. The entire situation was disgusting, and felt like racial profiling and discrimination. The way this was handled was completely unacceptable. Then, after all of that, they had the nerve to say I was welcome to come back. Why would I?

I am extremely disappointed with both Apple’s customer service and their policies, especially at the North County store in Escondido. I truly regret not checking their reviews beforehand. There is a reason they are sitting at 3 stars. I went in to resolve two issues, one with my iPhone 17 Pro Max and another with my AirPods Pro. Both experiences were equally frustrating and unacceptable. First, the iPhone. I have been dealing with ongoing graphics issues since purchasing the phone last October. Apple’s solution has been to repeatedly run diagnostics and restore the software, over 10 times so far, with zero resolution. The phone is still under warranty, yet they refuse to replace it even though I have provided photo and video evidence of the problems. Their excuse is that the issue does not always happen on demand in the store. Meanwhile, the problems are getting worse. In just the past two weeks, my phone has frozen at least 12 times, forcing me to constantly reboot it. Apps malfunction regularly. Spotify goes blank while still playing audio. My email randomly shows a visual glitch that will not go away. Safari displays screen artifacts that cover part of the display. Every issue only resolves after restarting the phone. These problems happen everywhere, at home, at work, and on the road, so it is clearly not a network issue. Customer support has been a complete runaround. Phone support sends me to the store, and the store sends me back to phone support. No one takes responsibility. It feels like they are deliberately stalling until my warranty expires. After being a loyal Apple customer for over 18 years, this is how I am treated. Completely dismissed. I spent hours at the store again restoring the phone using their system, which they claimed had the latest software, only for the same issue to happen again as soon as I got home. It was a complete waste of my time. Now, the AirPods. This situation is so ridiculous. I came in with one AirPod not charging. One was working when I arrived. After the technician briefly got the second one to respond, he connected them to a computer which crashed twice. From that point on, everything went downhill. The technician started mixing my AirPods with other units in the store, repeatedly swapping cases and components to “test” By the time he figured out he did not know how to fix it, the entire set was mismatched. Then he tried to blame me, claiming I someone at my work had switched AirPods in my case, which is completely false. He told me to come back the next day after letting them charge, but he was not there when I returned. Instead, a manager backed his story, she wasn’t even there. Now my AirPods are completely unusable. The case will not restore, the software is corrupted from their failed attempts, and neither AirPod works anymore, all caused by their mishandling. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Apple’s support system is disorganized, their staff at this location are careless, and their policies clearly prioritize avoiding responsibility. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this store. I cannot tell you to avoid apple products because they have become a part of our gadgets but if they continue with this policy of avoiding responsibility they will start losing customers. I’m definitely disappointed.

I didn't appreciate how long it did take for assistance and when I finally got some, I had a hard time understanding what was being said. The new person I got had said the part was already sold to someone else which I was confused because the girl from before stated she would hold it for me. I wasted my time about 2 hours just to be told this. I do not think this was a good communication whatsoever and didn't like my time wasted.

Weird experience. Went in with every intent to purchase a laptop. No one greeted me or came to ask if I needed assistance. I lingered by the MacBooks while an employee assisted another customer. When she finished she walked away without saying anything to me. Obviously you can’t just grab something for purchase off the shelf here and it’s frankly embarrassing to have to ask for help considering how much Apple charges for their products so I just left.
