  Dr. Tran and the entire VCA Bradshaw team saved our dog's life. Our 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog had been sick for 5 days, repeated vomiting, not eating, and declining despite home care. When we brought him in, Dr. Tran and the team were thorough, honest, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. They were very mindful of our financial limitations and more truly focused on helping our dog not just running every possible test that would rack up the bill. We tried to supportive care and exhausted all options then ran bloodwork and X-rays, discovered an obstruction and performed surgery the same day. The transparency about costs, the willingness to work within our financial constraints, and the way they communicated every step of the way made an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable. The staff was warm and patient, especially with our dog, who is reactive at the vet and needed extra care. They treated him like one of their own. From their receptionist and vet techs to the surgeon and medical director the entire staff was so incredibly caring and kind in one of the scariest weeks of our life. Our dog is now a month post-op, eating well, full of energy and back to his normal self. We are beyond grateful. If your pet needs urgent care in the Sacramento area, trust this team completely.

  Im going to let you more mature pet owners know right now be weary of this location. This is one of those vets that will choose to be lazy and "advise" you to euthanize instead of going through other options first. The front desk girls have no idea what their job is they just follow script like the scripted Healthcare bs we always see now. My personal example: they euthanized an injured stray cat i told them to let me know in advance if they were or were not because if they were, I would have taken the cat but they gave absolutely no effort to contact not only me, nor the animal shelter where theyre supposedly supposed to report to them any stray information. To sum it up, they killed a cat when they weren't supposed to and they gave me the run around when I started asking questions. I only found out through animal services and even then as we worked out those details they gave a strong impression of they dont know theyre job either. Just there for paychecks.

  Dr. Tran is, by far, the most compassionate and caring doctor there is. I first came to this location three years ago, and he took great care of my 16-year-old cat. We were blessed to have him there for us during my cat’s final moments as we said goodbye. My kitty passed peacefully in my arms, and they provided a blanket to wrap him in and keep him warm. This was on March 4, 2023. Rest in love and peace, my sweet cat, Honey B. We were given a box, like his own little coffin, so we could bury him at home. Today, on June 5, 2026, we returned to this location and specifically asked for Dr. Tran. He was just as compassionate and caring as I remembered him to be. We brought in my sweet cat Gregory, who was 15 years old and had several health issues. As it came to his final day, Dr. Tran made us feel comfortable and supported. My sweet Gregory also passed peacefully. He, too, was given a beautiful coffin box with flowers on top so we could take him home and bury him. Rest in love and peace, my sweet Gregory. I can confidently say that I highly recommend Dr. Tran. Both of my kitties lived long, loving lives and eventually faced old age and health challenges. I can never thank Dr. Tran enough—he is truly an angel on Earth. I deeply appreciate the compassion he shows to both his furry patients and their pet parents. Never change, Dr. Tran. You are an amazing doctor and an exceptional person. His team was friendly as well. Dr. Tran is outstanding, professional, and compassionate. Highly Recommend him. Dr. Tran, thank you so much.
