  I hate leaving poor reviews and rarely do this (see my profile) but my goodness what a bizarrely horrendous experience. I will say that the Front desk staff and Dr Leander - very polite professional, helpful 5/5 stars. However the interaction I had with the vet tech yesterday was one of the most hostile, unprofessional, straight up mean interactions I’ve ever had. If I could give negative stars on this app I would. Our dog had been sick all week and we were met with hostility, annoyance, borderline disgust that we were there. she was annoyed, impatient, and bothered. It felt like she was there to argue and belittle us, not there to help. I understand everyone has bad days but this felt different. It felt personal (maybe based on my looks?) Didn’t even get a “hi” after introducing myself, just “why are you here” and all questions were met with answers in a demeaning, aggressive, hostile tone. Have you ever had a customer experience where you leave and say “yeah I wouldn’t be shocked if they quit today.” That’s the vibe we got. It’s hard to even put in words - what a jarring, negative 5 stars, unfortunate interaction. The icing on the cake was how they presented pricing. “$579.” Then breathed down our neck, with a body language presented as if she was annoyingly waiting on a long line for a coffee. Also, earlier in the week, I explained the symptoms to a different vet there and they immediately tried to pressure us into $1k worth of x rays and ultrasounds even though I told her it was similar to previous gastro issues - saying it’s high chance of cancer?? She REFUSED to give me probiotic for my dog and discouraged me from trying to eat wet food. Overall, what a bizarre experience. Safe to say we will NOT be coming back to this vet. No chance I’m giving them my $ again, I’m upset I even paid for these two visits this week what a waste of $ and time!

  My dog Luna was a patient at VCA Airport Irvine Animal Hospital for 18 wonderful years, and I cannot say enough about the incredible care she received. Dr. Radovich and the entire team were always compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in Luna’s wellbeing. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, Luna lived a long, healthy, and happy life. I’m forever grateful!

  Dr. Radovich and all the staff at Airport Irvine Animal Hospital are the best of the best when it comes to caring for your pet. We have been entrusting our dog's health and well-being with this clinic for many years, because they are the most comprehensive, knowledgable, compassionate and thorough team of Doctors I've ever encountered. They care about your pet as if it was their own, and I'd say even our dogs know they are in excellent hands when we visit. Thank you guys for all that you do!
