We ended up taking an emergency trip to VCA because our snake was getting significantly worse before our appointment at orange grove the next day. The care there has literally been I think the worst experience we have ever had dealing with vets. (I’ve worked many years in animal care) They let us wait 2 hours after they took him to the back to “examine him” they didn’t even take vitals before they said “some of our vets don’t like handling snakes” they sent us home and we waited another hour before the new Tech on duty called and said they had still not looked at him. So we decided to come in to pick him up and got a little heated because how do you see this and not think this is emergency? How do you let him just sit there like this and fear that he is going to hurt you? After some words with the tech we were able to get some pain management until he can get into orange grove in the morning. The night tech that helped was great, we are glad she spoke up for us. It feels like false advertisement, do not trust them with your exotics. They will drag you along and waste yours and their time .

I want to thank the team at Valley Animal Hospital. I recently had to put my buddy down, Kokoum. Your team is very caring and compassionate during this transition for my friend. Very caring for my well being as well. Thank you so very much. Debbie and Kokoum

Very helpful and compassionate during a very emotional time. My 14 year old Pom had a recent history of cardiopulmonary disease and went down hill very quickly late in the evening. VCA Valley was extremely helpful with getting her in, helping me through a very sad time (moderate hysterics) and being very compassionate with end of life care. The techs and DR's were very thorough and kind. My only negative feedback would be the phone system was super frustrating to navigate and I got disconnected while trying to use maps to navigate to the location being new to the area. Keep calling, they were very nice and extremely helpful once I got them on the phone.

i went to VCA back in september for a couple months for surgery and recovery. the service was amazing in every single aspect no matter what time i called or walked in. unfortunately that is not the case anymore, i understand COVID-19 and how rude customers can be but attitude and sass really isn’t appreciated when all i’m doing is politely asking a simple question on my dogs and her puppies health. :(
