I have struggled to find the right words for this review because “thank you” feels far too small.
Today I brought my 16yo cat, Ryder, in for an appointment that was honestly one of the most emotionally difficult veterinary visits I have ever experienced. After losing my other cat unexpectedly after a previous veterinary visit at a different clinic less than a year ago, I walked into this appointment carrying a level of fear and anxiety that was difficult to put into words. I was terrified of hearing the worst and I was terrified of feeling helpless.
Instead, I experienced something I believe is truly rare in veterinary medicine: compassion, patience, expertise and genuine care all in one place.
From the moment we arrived, Dr. Sherry and her veterinary technician treated Ryder like she was more than just a patient. They took the time to truly listen. They listened to her history, her personality, the changes I had noticed and all the details that mattered because they understood that those details were part of the bigger picture.
Dr. Sherry approached Ryder’s case with such thoughtfulness and dedication. She was thorough, honest and incredibly compassionate. She didn’t rush through a complicated situation or make me feel like I was asking too many questions. She carefully worked through possibilities, explained her reasoning and helped me understand what we knew, what we didn’t know and what the next steps would be.
What stood out to me the most was that Dr. Sherry cared for Ryder while also caring for the person attached to her. She recognized that Ryder is not “just a cat.” She is a member of our family. She understood that behind every symptom was a scared pet mom who loves this animal deeply and was trying to advocate for her.
Her veterinary technician was equally wonderful. I am so sorry that I don’t remember her name, but I hope this reaches her! She was an absolute gift during an incredibly stressful appointment. She was gentle, patient, kind and showed Ryder so much tenderness. The way she handled both Ryder and our situation showed a level of compassion that cannot be taught.
Ryder’s case is complex and we do not have every answer yet. But I left that appointment with something I desperately needed: hope. I left knowing that Ryder was taken seriously, that she was cared for and that she had people in her corner who were willing to help us navigate the unknown.
There is a difference between a veterinary office that treats animals and a veterinary team that truly cares for them. Dr. Sherry and her team reminded me what veterinary medicine is supposed to be.
To Dr. Sherry and your team… thank you for giving Ryder your time, your expertise, your patience and your compassion. Thank you for making one of the scariest days I have had with my pets feel less lonely. Thank you for seeing Ryder as the special cat she is and for seeing me as the person who loves her.
Ryder and I are incredibly grateful.

Everyone there is exceptional. From the front desk to the assistant and Dr. Covervill. Dr Covervill is by far the most knowledgeable, informative, patient, understanding and kind. She knows how to treat people and animals with the utmost compassion. I wouldn't go anywhere else to treat my 3 amazing fur babies. Thank you for being the #1 place to care for your pets!!
