  The Vet Tech and Dr were SO friendly and professional. We brought in our new adopted dog Coco from the Humane society for a free exam they offer with adoption and we got amazing service like a hundred dollar visit! Thank you VCA and staff for your wonderful care ❤️

  The tech and receptionist were great. However the vet himself awful, condescending, arrogant, didn’t listen just suggesting to sedate the dog for a vet visit for a dog that has never bit anyone, goes to professional training and was muzzled. Didn’t listen to us about the dog and was smug the whole time. This is the second time I have had a bad experience with this vet and will not be coming back and telling others to stay clear as he was truly terrible.

  I had a very disappointing experience with VCA Elliot Park Animal Hospital. I brought in my kitten, who I recently rescued from the Humane Society, within the 14-day window for their stated complimentary follow-up care for internal parasites as he was having symptoms of this the day I brought him home. At the appointment, I was told I would need to pay out of pocket for the test, but that I would be reimbursed if the results came back positive. The test did come back positive—but when I called to understand the reimbursement process, the experience went downhill. The receptionist was unhelpful, but the worse part was that the manager I asked to speak to was condescending and dismissive of my questions. (note: I still do not have a clear explanation as to why this is not covered when their own Healthy Start Certificate clearly states it is) To make matters worse, I later found out I was supposed to bring my kitten back for a follow-up appointment two weeks after treatment—something that was never communicated to me during the initial visit. I guess it is a good thing I called to question the billing, or I would have never known this. After this experience, I tried to transfer to another VCA location because I no longer feel comfortable trusting this one with my pet’s care. Unfortunately, I was told I would need to book and pay for another baseline exam in order for them to do any of my follow-up testing, as they wouldn’t just transfer & use my pet’s prior records. Overall, I experienced extremely poor communication, rude and unhelpful customer service, and deceptive billing practices. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
