Cecil Shamley School

Cecil Shamley School is a PreK-8 school in Tempe, AZ. At Shamley, our goal is to ensure all students receive an education that is centered around their specific needs while providing an opportunity for continued growth. Shamley School is an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) school. AVID helps teachers shift from delivering content to facilitating learning, resulting in an inquiry-based, student-centric classroom. AVID fosters a safe and open culture, fosters high expectations for teachers and students, and encourages and promotes active collaboration in all classrooms. Shamley School is also a one-to-one technology school. Shamley helps continue to foster a learning environment that supports the transition to high school.
