  We have been going to this location for the last 5 years. They are just wonderful and caring people. Dr. Moffat is a talented and deeply intelligent vet. The staff gets to know you by name. I can't recommend this location enough. Good people!

  I used to really like VCA and appreciated Dr. Beverege. I adopted a special needs dog (which I didn't know at the time) and I always appreciated that she helped me balance needs and costs. The first annoyance was she left the practice and we received no notification or recommendation for which vet to go to. But ok, I get it, no warm and fuzzies from a corp. Next, VCA stopped cooperating with Chewy which is a big problem if you have meds. VCA has its own pharmacy but its super expensive and so I would order from Chewy and they would call VCA. About a year ago, VCA stopped taking calls from Chewy so now you have to get a physical prescription and mail it in. This is a huge inconvenience and its clear they just want money. We see Dr. Wiblin now and I find her to be kind, knowledgeable and is helpful since my pup costs me a fortune. The office visits have jumped in price substantially over the last couple of years, it was $120 just for the consult today, add in labs and meds and its never less than $500. So, I feel VCA to be pricey, but I think we are starting the final run and so I will stick with them until the end. The receptionist/office manager - I called this morning because my pup has had digestive issues for the last couple of weeks and she has lost a lot of weight. I got an appt for 1:30 today and headed over. I live about 30 min away and my dog who weighs 40 pounds needs to be carried to the door. I arrive at 1:25 and the place is dark. There is a sign on the door that states "we are closed from 12-2 for employee training". I looked at my appt confirmation for 1:30 and feeling a bit confused and hot (it's about 110) I called the number listed on the sign. Not even a voicemail, just that sound for a wrong number. I called the office a couple of times and straight to voicemail. I pounded on the door for a bit and finally the light turned on. Dayja (receptionist-office mgr) opened the door and let me in. I explained my confusion and told her I was about to leave. She responded with a blank stare and she commented..."well you are early" ...um, ok, I am 5 min before my appt. And it was downhill from there, she absolutely refused to acknowledge that maybe posting a sign that said closed until 2PM could be misleading and that it was distressing for people and animals to be standing in the heat wondering if they have been forgotten and should leave. Over the years I have become accustomed to her curt/blank attitude but her lack of empathy for man or beast is definitely a detriment to an otherwise kind group of folks trying to help animals. She may be a great employee, but she should be in the back not dealing with the public. And unsurprisingly, when I complained to other staff it was clear this is not a new issue...as also stated in other reviews. She is the nail in the coffin for me... when my dog is gone so I am I. I'd give zero stars but the other staff are nice and that is worth something.

  They're very compassionate here. I have now taken 3 dogs there over the years and will continue taking my fur babies there. .

  This has been our primary vet for almost 20 years. They have seen all of our cats and dogs. The kindness and care the vets and the staff show is incredibly comforting as a fur mom. They are like family to us we have had so many animals grow uo with them. They see them from being babies to their last day on earth. They care... they remember.. I recommend them to anyone that has a pet. I will never take my pets to any other vet. We love and adore them. They have save our pets more times then I can count becuase of their knowledge, care, kindness and the time they take to listen to all your concerns.
