The Film Connection is a mentor-apprenticeship based film school, meaning students train one-on-one and receive direct instruction from their mentor, a well-respected local filmmaker. Subjects and skill sets are introduced in the online curriculum, then developed hands-on within the professional film production environment, under the guidance of the mentor filmmaker.
With the Film Connection you will have a minimum of 10 hours a week as an extern in an established Birmingham film production company. This real-world experience cannot be duplicated in a classroom.
