  I was traveling from another state with my husband and pets,when I got an email saying my cat's rabies shot was due.I didn't realize this at home before we left and knowing I had to show proof of vaccines at the border,I called to see if they could fit me in. I have a VCA at home, and they were able to fit me in same day! Would highly recommend. Staff was knowledgeable,professional and friendly.

  VCA is hands down my favorite vet clinic I’ve taken my pupper to. Everyone - the front staff, techs, nurses and vets - are always courteous and helpful. My pup recently was sick and Dr Seymour and the team were able to get us in quickly and were so kind throughout the whole experience. Cannot thank them or recommend them enough!

  This VCA hospital is one of the best for locations, hours of operation & I like the building set up but what sets it apart from other veterinary clinics is the staff, They are excellent from the minute -you walk in-untill check out, infact if your pet dosent handle other animals/people in lobby while trying to check out/pay they will suggest for you take your pet out to the car so your pet isnt stressed & they will text you a payment link! All of the staff are great & not just to my dog but have been with me as well! Us owners can become fragile when worried for our pets,each time they listen to my concerns & addressed them! Lastly, the prices are reasonable! Don't pay for pet insurance else where get their Care Plan its cheaper & their plan gets you wsy more its not a gimmick! THANK YOU VCA ANIMAL HOSPITAL 🩵🦮❤️

  To the lake otis location in Anchorage: I've avoided taking my dog to the vet because due to her being attacked so many times, she's developed a fear based reactivity to unfamiliar dogs which comes out as aggression. She is the sweetest girl to all humans, her cat brother, and dogs she knows. When she developed ear hematomas, I knew I couldn't put off the vet any longer. First, I really liked being able to schedule online. Second, staff was AMAZING! I let them know that she was dog reactive and they not only were understanding but also beyond accommodating! We came up with a plan to get her in and out without her having to ever see another dog! They cleared the lobby and gave me a call to let my know it was all clear to bring her in. During this time they made sure no other customers were to come in with their dogs and they immediately took us to a room. I love the fact that they are a certified fear free facility and it really shows! They truly did everything to ensure that both me and my fur baby would have an amazing experience. She also has an allergy to chicken so I brought my own treats but they made sure to not give her any of the treats they have on hand. The staff was so lovely that my baby was more than willing to leave the room without me and go with staff to have her hematoma drained and she returned to me without resentment. I cannot thank this place enough for making it possible for me to be able to bring my girl in multiple times. Thank you for all that you do!

  Dr. Seymour is the best! Very caring staff all around. They have always fit our dogs in for emergencies. We have a fear reactive dog and the staff are so understanding and have helped our dog be more confident all around. The other vets at VCA Lake Otis have also been amazing. No one else we would trust our dogs with.
