This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a vet of any kind. Staff was not personable and it felt like a scam. We were trying to get treatment for our 8 year old cat when she is in a bad spot, but $500 later and very very little vet interaction with our cat, we were given no answers, 3 days worth of medicine, and a suggestion we spend another $500 for an X-ray. If you need a vet, go somewhere else like Vista Animal Hospital and Rehab. At least they seem to actually care about animals and don’t just see them as an income product.

We had a pet emergency and this was the closest vet clinic to us. When my husband called to let them know he was on his way with our beloved teacup poodle that was barely breathing, the response from whoever answered the phone was, are you close?...because we're fixing to close for lunch. Seriously?! Thanks for the concern and compassion. My husband arrived and they take our dog back. An employee asks my husband repeatedly how far do they want them to go? Code for how much money are you willing to spend. Really?! Our vet would have NEVER asked that. We didn't have time to make it to our vet, but at this point we wished we had! Shortly after my husband said he didn't have the money to pay that day, they came out and said they couldn't save her. Then they took our credit card info to run on my husbands pay day and charged us an absolutely ridiculous amount for "working" on a 2 lb dog for 20 minutes. I know someone who is a vet tech and they told me that what they did only cost them a few dollars and they charged us over $300!! If your dog is dying, don't go here. Shame on you, Aledo Vet Clinic.
